The fact that she loves her dog doesn’t necessarily mean that she’s an animal lover. Loving ur pet and loving all animals are 2 different things. Nobody asked her to worship cows, but cows are also animals and deserve love equally.

indian-americans, afro – americans, japanese – americans, chinese – americans, mexican – americans…..i would say “world – americans”….but if europeans identify theirs roots, that would be complicated.

So the woman is Miss America….why does she have to enhance that she´s from India?
We are no fools, we can see that, if we like to see her winning the contest, that´s another subject.

Paula,
What is this real American?Europeans killed the last original American in 1812.
He was a red Indian.
First go take some lessons in cultural sensitivity in NYC.

Everyone immigrated to America form somewhere else. It’s just a matter or how long ago. The “red” Indians came to the Americas from Asia via Alaska. I say anyone that is born here is a Native American. Or ever better, I agree with Paula and say we are all just Americans!

Karen Mittu,
Indian origin people are everywhere in the planet. I have seen expressions like chinese americans, italian americans,Irish americans and they all display their affection to the country by numerous means.Watch the Irish pride parade in NYC.Chinese new year celebrations in Hawaii.
There is nothing wrong in displaying their ancestral roots anywhere in the world.Indians have always won numerous Miss world, miss universe titles before where as no miss america ever won miss universe. You are clueless regdg any culture and in your own island like a frog in the well.
God bless America
john

People like you are shame for USA who consider the skin colour and English accent only as signs of patriotism.Try to compete with Indian kids in spelling bee competition and show your so called
patriotic kid’s skills.

So, what is the point here whether worshiping cow or any animals, we hindus does worship cows as a second mother because if infants mother is dead then infant could survive with milk from the cow, of course now a days there are many formulae for inants but never replace cow milk as a second food for a infant….

Nina was actually in my sister’s sorority at Michigan and my cousin’s roomate! I hung out with her once and she could eat an entire pizza…probably not anymore. Great girl though.
