Lamar Odom Knows His NBA Career Is Over
Lamar totally sees that his problems with drug abuse are slamming the door on his NBA career, but that doesn’t seem to be enough for him to change his ways, a source close to the Odom family tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively.
“Lamar already knows he’s done! There’s no going back,” the source says. The family friend also tragically explains that Lamar not only knows that his basketball days are over, but that he’s also completely apathetic about it:
We told him this weeks ago. He sounded like he didn’t care, all he said was, “Yeah, whatever.” Literally that’s all he said. That stunned us — the fact he doesn’t even care about his dream and what he worked so hard to accomplish in life.
Khloe Kardashian: The Real Reason She’s Mad At Lamar Odom
Above everything else, the way Lamar is tossing his career out the window is the thing that is bothering Khloe the most. “She’s severely disappointed in him for not taking his life seriously,” the same source told HollywoodLife.com exclusively.
“He’s been fortunate to play in the NBA. Do you know how many guys dream of that? It’s a gift, Khloe told him, and it’s like he’s blowing it off and she’s pissed.”
Lamar’s destructive behavior is rattling and frustrating, but the way he seemingly doesn’t care is even more concerning. In order to get better Lamar is going to need to have a little fight in him, and he doesn’t seem to have an ounce right now..
