The future King of England is already taking on his royal role — his proud dad compared his wails to the roars of a lion! Will’s cute updates were appropriately themed for the Tusk Awards on Sept. 12 — an event dedicated to the animals!
Prince George is giving the king of the jungle some competition! According to his dad, Prince William, the tiny royal’s roar rivals the jungle’s fiercest beast! Will and his wife Kate Middleton told crowds at the Tusk Conservancy Awards in London on Sept. 12 all about their son!
Prince George’s Wails Are Like A Lion’s Roar
Prince William addressed the crowd at the Tusk Awards gala in London, giving fun updates about his tiny son:
As you might have gathered, Catherine and I have recently become proud parents — of a baby who has a voice to match any lion’s roar! This is actually our first evening out without him, so please excuse us if you see us nervously casting cheeky glances at our mobile phone to check all is well back home.
It’s so cute that the new dad finds even a night’s separation from his newborn just as nerve-wrecking as other new parents!
Prince William Working With Tusk Conservancy
Even though Will’s comparison of his son to the wild animals he’s working to protect is totally adorable, it’s a comparison that brings awareness to the cause:
Like any new parents, our thoughts inevitably turn to the world that our child will inherit. It is unfathomable to imagine a world in which children who have been born in the past couple of months may grow up in a world in which rhinoceros have ceased to live in the wild.
What do YOU think, HollyMoms? Do you think it’s cute that Will compared George’s cries to a lion’s roar?
