Wow! Season 12 is proving to be the season of many firsts — and it looks like there’s yet another in store for episode 9! WATCH a preview of it right here.

On episode 8 we got to watch as the designers unleashed their sporty sides, crafting activewear and even competing in a obstacle course, and now on episode 9 it looks like they are all mad for plaid! We’re really loving the new themes this season and especially love all the new twists and turns! On the upcoming episode, which appears to have a Southern theme, Heidi says she’s sending the designers back into the workroom for the first time ever in challenge history — but why? Is it because their designers really need extra work or is there yet another twist? I guess we’ll have to tune into Project Runway to find out!

Project Runway Season 12 Episode 9 Preview:

Project Runway has been better than ever this season and the Sept. 12 episode promises to serve up just as much drama as the designers dash around to create looks out of plaid fabric — it’s being presented as, “When Plaid Goes Bad.” Will they dream up country cute outfits or will they fail miserably? According to Nina Garcia, “This is the Titanic.” Ouch! We all know how it ended for the sinking ship — let’s hope some of the designers manage to salvage their creations in the 12th hour.

So, who will be in and who will be out? We’re coming down to the wire and the steaks are just getting higher and higher. I guess we’ll have to tune in to see on Lifetime when the episode airs! Which designer are you really loving this season?
