Kate Middleton looked absolutely stunning in metallic sequins at the Tusk Foundation Inaugural Awards gala at the Royal Society in London. The fashionable new mom decided to go with one of her favorite fashion designers for her glamorous evening look, choosing a Jenny Packham gown for her red carpet appearance!
Kate Middleton’s Jenny Packham Gown — Stunning Look For Tusk Gala
Kate’s pale gold sequin evening gown is a stunning Jenny Packham design with an eye-catching crystal motif. Kate has worn the brand’s designs for some of her biggest moments — including her baby’s debut outside of the hospital! The figure-flattering floor-length gown shows off Kate’s tremendous post-baby weight loss!
Kate appeared at the foundation’s event because the cause is important to her family. The gala was scheduled to be her first official public appearance since giving birth to her son Prince George in July, but she surprised everyone by attending a marathon event with her husband in Angelsey, Wales, on Aug. 30.
Kate Middleton & Prince William’s Tusk Foundation Involvement
Kate stepped out to support her husband Prince William at an event near and dear to his heart. He presented two awards at the gala, which recognize “outstanding achievement in the field of African Conservation,“ said an official Kensington Palace press release on Sept. 12. Will spoke about the importance of his involvement:
The threats to our natural heritage are extensive, but I believe that this collaboration of the best minds in conservation will provide the impetus for a renewed commitment and action to protect endangered species and habitats for future generations.
At the root of the illegal wildlife trade, for example, is the demand for products that require the deaths of tens of thousands of these animals every year, pushing them further towards extinction. We must work together to prevent this catastrophe and allow our children the opportunity to experience wildlife in its many beautiful and varied forms.
It’s so great that Kate decided to attend this important event!
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Do you think Kate looks great? Are you surprised she went with a Jenny Packham dress?
