Now that Rihanna has been seen wearing the necklace Chris gave her, everybody thinks she’s running back to him. Not so fast. HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned the truth behind her wearing that Chris Brown-gifted chunk of gold around her neck.
Rihanna is not jumping back into a relationship with ex Chris Brown. Right? The Unapologetic artist gave the impression that a reunion was a definite possibility on Sept. 3, wearing a necklace that was romantically given to her by her ex. However, HollywoodLife.com has exclusively discovered RiRi’s surprising accessory choice.
Rihanna’s Necklace From Chris Brown — Why She Wore The Bling From Her Ex
“Every girl has had that moment when she’s got her ex on the mind and did something about it,” a source close to the situation told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “This was one of those moments for Ri. She already knew what people would say and she doesn’t give a f**k.”
“Like Mel [Rihanna’s bestie Melissa Forde] told her, ‘f**k what people say.’ She wore it. She liked it. She’s entitled to have one
of those moments. It ain’t the first. And it won’t be the last.”
We’re told Rihanna, 25, has no intentions of rekindling her romance with Chris, 24. But we’ve also learned that her love for him will never fade.
“That will never change,” the source added. “She’s going to always love him regardless. But trying to get back with him, naw, that ain’t happening.”
Rihanna Steps Out In NYC Wearing Necklace From Chris Brown
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Rihanna made a bold statement when she was out in NYC on Sept. 3 wearing the gold necklace as she dressed down for dinner at the Mercer.
Rihanna previously wore the chain on Dec. 1, 2012 while debuting her fragrance, Nude, in Los Angeles. She donned it again on Christmas Day of 2012 while attending a Los Angeles Lakers game with Chris.
In a pair of blue denim jeans and a sweater that read “Money Talks,” she strutted the streets with the gold Christian Lacroix necklace around her neck, looking ever so proud!
RiRi first debuted the necklace on her Instagram page in Dec., 2012. Citing Breezy’s song “Give It Away,” she captioned the pic, “He told me ‘you better not give it away.’”
Now it’s your turn to sound off, HollywoodLifers. Do you think Rihanna will ever truly be over Chris?
