Brant always had a plan up his sleeve on ‘Pretty Little Liars,’ but he’s about to show us a whole new set of moves on ‘Dancing With The Stars!’ In honor of his casting, we came up with a list of five things you MUST know about the handsome hunk.

Brant Daughtery is lacing up his dance shoes and preparing to rock ‘n’ roll. The cast members for the 17th season of Dancing With The Stars were announced Sept. 4, and it’s quite the good-looking roster. Brant, 28, first caught our attention playing Noel on Pretty Little Liars, but as you’re about to discover, there’s so much more to know about him.

Brant Daugherty: 5 Things To Know About The Sexy New ‘DWTS’ Hunk

1. He’s Into Daytime Drama

If you’re not a PLL fan, you might be wondering where you’ve seen Brant before. He’s been recurring as Brian on Days of Our Lives since 2012, and he appeared on the seventh season of Lifetime’s Army Wives, playing the hunky Lt. Patrick Clarke.

2. He’s A Midwestern Guy

Brant doesn’t just have good looks — he’s also a charmer! He was born and raised in the small town of Mason, Ohio, where the population is estimated to be around 30,000. From there, he went to Columbia College Chicago and earned a degree in film before packing up and moving to Los Angeles.

3. His Celeb Crush Is Natalie Portman

Here’s some good news for brunettes! In an interview with Seventeen magazine, the hunk revealed his celebrity crush: Natalie Portman.

“I’ve been in love with Natalie Portman for a long time now,” Brant confessed. “She’s flawless.”

He then went on to reveal that if he could trade places with one person in the world, it would be her husband!

4. He’s Got A Sense Of Humor

Brant is set to star in The Starving Games — a parody about Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, The Avengers and Sherlock Holmes. He clearly must be a funny guy to take on this role!

5. He’s Ambitious

Brant has wanted to work in the entertainment industry nearly his entire life. Right after college, he moved to Los Angeles and started his career as an assistant, eventually getting his big break came on the set of Bring It On: Fight to the Finish. While his acting — and dancing — career is sky-rocketing, he’s also got eyes on exploring the production side of movies.

Brant is definitely an interesting (and cute!) guy. We can’t wait to watch him on Dancing With The Stars!

I’m not familiar with him or his career, but yes, I will be tuning in to see him dance. I saw him on Good Morning America yesterday and not only is he handsome, he seems down-to-earth, too. Go Brant!
