Some say they love it, some say the writing has gotten tired and they’re pulling long shots. Well I have some evidence that proves my point: 1. I have never seen them take the easy way out on script writing not even once, (ex. Walking Dead went lazy on Andrea’s exit, who stops to get themselves free, while talking to someone who is turning? It was the laziest writing I have ever seen.) I’ve never seen one instance where True Blood has taken the lazy way out.
2. They have relevance in their writing: From religion to politics, to dealing with loss and conveying that ordeal and emotion in such true form. To being able to accept one’s self and trucking through the difficulties in life, whether it be dealing with the horrors of war time, or finding out you have a new talent. Layfette coming to terms with being a medium, Sookie finally accepting her fairy lineage, this show really takes you through the progression, (heart, mind and soul) of some really dynamic characters. 3. The relevance of their topics, I will never forget that one line, Layfette says “Nothing good happens when you hear those drums”. You really need to pay attention to every bit of dialogue to really get how deep this show goes. That’s my challenge to those who think this show is played out. Watch it again and don’t miss one word. They’ve always kept relevant with current events, with the way the world is going, this show in my opinion has more material than ever to keep going.

Same here, I have no reason to even have HBO if True Blood ends. The show isn’t even supposed to end at seven, I believe it was supposed to end after 10 seasons, being that they are supposed to follow the number of books. 10 books 10 seasons!

Just because there are 10 books, does not mean that there would be 10 seasons. They had no plans on making it go this far seems to be from the pathetic showing of the past season. I think this vampire war will be good to end it on, but I would prefer seeing Sookie marry Eric even though I don’t believe it is even in the books either. The books have tons of differences from the show, read them sometime.

I haven’t commented thinking HBO would come to their senses. I can’t believe they would cancel True Blood. Will be canceling HBO after the last episode! Idiots.

WTH??? WHY would they cancel it? I dont get it, its an epic show! Seriously makes no sense. And yes, I too hope sookie and Eric to be together. Such an awesome couple…bill and sookie…ewww. And how exactly are they planning on planning on ending the show? There is sooooo much going on. If anything it seems like they’re rushing to end it….i just don’t get it. And I’m pretty pissed about it. There’s not alot of shows out there like this one. And not alot of good shows out there. People aren’t goin to be happy. So far from all the comments that I’ve read…keep telling them no and hopefully they will reconsider. Because all year, I too look forward to watching true blood. And it does seem to soon to end it. Sooo please dont end it!!!

Anyone that actually still enjoys this terrible show needs their heads checked. True Blood has been the worst show in HBO history from season 3 to present. I was actually hoping that they would just cancel it and not go for one last season which will be what zombie vamps? In all honesty most of my friends and co-workers loved this show (including me) when it first aired and all but two stopped watching after season 2 or 3 and I really wish that I threw in the towel than as well.

Unfortunatley True blood is coming to an end, they are running out of ideas so yes i think its time to end my favorite show. I will miss it. When a show starts adding characters i know it will end soon. That’s just what happens. Season 1, 2 and maybe 3 were the best in my opinion.

I love LaLa, Pam, Jason, Eric, Sookie, and Willa and will miss their characters dearly. Sometimes writers lack the vision and creativity needed to continue to write. I’m seriously hoping there is a show already in the making to replace such a great show as True Blood. There are so many possibilities and if fanfiction writers keep us more entertained than Warlow did last season then I think it’s time to cut sling load. There are stories out there about season 7 already and I’m loving it. I hope Eric and Pam off doing their own story line is actually an idea for a spinoff series.

There is a good show that will be starting next year called The Strain, based off of a trilogy by Guillermo Del Toro. The books are fantastic and the cast looks promising too. Wait for it :D

Yes – Would love an Eric and his “family” spin off. They would get so many viewers from all the Eric fans.

It ALWAYS HAPPENS!!! When you find a show and really love it, become invested in the characters, THEY END IT!!! I am so upset about this. If some of the actors want a break, give it to them but PLEASE DO NOT END THE SHOW. PLEASE!!???!?!?

Please do not end true blood it gave the fans something to look forward too on sunday and I do love the show. Please come up with seasons eight. Why is it when people get really in to show you and it is very good you people always cancel it. Please put your minds together and come up with some thing good and have some more seasons. Thank you for bringing true blood to ours lives. It will be sad to see it goes off the air.

Who are these people that are really into the show? Were you late getting into True Blood? I mean the ratings for True Blood have gotten worse and worse and worse since season one so you and a few others are about the only people that are not super excited to see this show finally end. I was hoping that they never made last season. I’m literally only watching because I have invested years watching this show and have to see the corny ending at this point but I haven’t enjoyed True Blood since season 3.

Season 3 was so good because of the Eric-Sookie romance/tension and Russel Edgington and any bits of those characters in the later seasons are the best bits. It’s like surfing for an hour and getting a buzz from your 3 best rides! I’m going to watch the least season.

This is one show that I would love to see have 10 seasons! A decade of True Blood would not be too much for most folks…..but please, Mr. Buckner……leave an opening at the end for a comeback show or shoot offs from the original……too great of a cast to scatter them to the four winds!
