‘Project Runway’ Preview: The Claws Come Out As It’s All About The Shoes

Forget inspiration — it’s all about ‘shoe’-spiration on the upcoming episode of ‘Project Runway,’ where the claws come out, the drama intesifies, and the attention on the runway is all about the fancy footwear! WATCH and see what we’re in store for.

Fresh off a camping trip and a very emotional, (and shocking!), ending it doesn’t look like Project Runway plans to slow down anytime soon — in fact, it’s clear that the Aug. 29 episode is bound to deliver a major dose of DRAMA. Aside from the bickering and eye-rolling, the contestants will once again be thrown through a loop by the new theme — shoes! The clip gives us a preview of the workroom as Tim greets the designers and describes the challenge, saying, “It’s the most important accessory of all: SHOES!”

‘Project Runway’ Season 12 Episode 7 Preview — Shoes:

The stylish accessory will serve as inspiration for the looks we’ll see on the runway — but it doesn’t look like everyone adapted to the concept. As an avid shoe lover, I can’t wait to see the way they incorporate a slew of fancy footwear into the runway looks. Although some of the styles seem divine, it’s clear that not everyone impressed the judges. In fact, Nina Garcia is seen saying, “Hashtag: Hot Mess.” You know that can’t be good.

We’ll also get to see Big Bang Theory star Kayley Cuoco as she slips into the guest judge seat. “We love shoes!” Heidi exclaims on runway day. While she’s certainly correct, the fancy footwear might not have served as positive inspiration for everyone. Although we’ll have to tune in on Aug. 29 on Lifetime to see who is in and who is out.

Are you excited for the episode?
