While we were quite confused by her red carpet look at the VMAs, there’s no doubt about the fact that Rita totally wowed us at the afterparty! We’re so impressed with the way she transformed her look in mere hours. Do you agree? Which frock was your fave on the star? VOTE.
Rita Ora was all about making a statement at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 25 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY, where the 22-year-old songstress opted for a very interesting look. Her Alexandre Vauthier gown consisted of a feathered skirt and a slit up to her hip that put her legs on full display — and the dramaric look didn’t end there!
Rita Ora’s VMAs Dress:
Rita’s frock was from the Fall 2013 collection. The baby blue gown featured an embroidered, long-sleeved top with a revealing, plunging neckline that really sparkled — but it was the severe slit and the feathered train that set this look apart — and unfortunately not everyone loved this dress on the star! Given that it’s a music awards show I don’t totally hate the look — and I think Rita really rocked it! That being said, it had a lot going on. There was a lot of leg and an ample amount of cleavage — she definitely took the more is more approach to the red carpet. Black and gold Christian Louboutin sandals finished off her ensemble.
Rita Ora’s Afterparty Dress:
After making a dramatic VMAs entrance, the star totally transformed her look for the afterparty. The songstress swapped her voluminous gown for a sexy and sleek number. Her red hot Versace dress was from the Fall 2013 collection and featured leather detailing. The sleeveless frock hugged her figure like a glove and the star paired the look with a bright red lip and red pumps — we loved the matching look!
While I appreciate her interesting VMAs arrival gown I definitely was a bigger fan of her afterparty dress — I’m so happy she decided to switch up her style! Do you agree? What did you think of her two dresses? Did you have a favorite? VOTE.
