MTV only cares about dead white artists. thought everybody knew that. When MTV first started they said specifically it would be a white only channel. they were forced to play black artists.

It’s 2014 and there doing the vmas on the 24th of august.AALIYAH is still relevant today and a tribute would be nice considering she is still has a impact on the fans and many celebritys.Youtube how many celebritys loved her and how many times her name is mention in there music. It will take you back to the Aaliyah era when it was cool to be just a Down to earth regular natural chick.you still can’t name a artist that looked as natural as AALIYAH.

Wow. I thought I was the only one who noticed this, MTV having the music awards on Aaliyah’s death anniversary and not mention a thing about her at the awards too. I now see that there are other people who noticed this too. I was shocked, angry, and disappointed just like everybody else.

I was shocked that they didn’t leave a tribute for Aaliyah. Although, the VMAs didn’t like it so much, I hope that the next time they made the VMAs they put a tribute for Aaliyah. R.I.P. Baby Girl.

These chicks today do not have what it takes to have longevity. That’s why they tour every
year so they can make quick milllions of dollars. They don’t even really care. Just put out
an album and the immediately go on your cause nobody is reall buying their low quality
albums. Beyonce has dropped a new album in 2 yrs & is on your singing the same old’
tired songs!!! If I hear Single Ladies one more time I’ll jump off a cliff!!!! Same dances, same
costumes. That hussy put on a short blonde, bob wig & told the world she cut “her” hair!!
She bought a short wig !!! People had the nerve to be so amazed!! She is so fake. She
knows she is playing out , that’s why she is using social media (twitter, instagram, etc, to
trying and stay relevant. Her managers and the ppl pulling her pop star puppet strings
know it !!!! Aaliyah would have never needed to use any gimmick to stay relavant &
when she was alive, Aaliyah knew that because in her interviews, she said she try to
maintain staying true to herself!!! These hoes today don’t even know which way up!!!
It just disgusts me that these chicks are told what to wear, what to say, even who to date.
They di not have a mind of their own!!!! They are being controlled to manipulate the public
& even worse, the kids who think this sh&t is cool to be an Idiot. Not Aaliyah though. She
was and will always be on her own level !!!!!!

Aaliyah was so beautiful inside and outside. I wonder what songs and movies she would have been in if she were to still be here today. She will always be remembered. She was a lovely woman and definitely was more than a woman! x

Aaliyah wasn’t a saint. When she was alive all she did was brag and brag about her career. Aalyah didn’t care about anyone but herself. She was selfish, me me me me me that’s all she was all about. All Aaliyah did was say, I’m so hot. I’m having and amazing time and no other female bragged the way she did and you all jumping on Miley for. Aaliyah is in hell, she’s not in heaven you dumb idiots. She was not an angel, far from it. That girl worshipped the devil and died before her time. You people are too mutha f**ing blinde to see that.

Wow we got a “Miley Lover” In the house. Actually Aaliyah did care about other people. and if we’re gonna compare Miley and Aaliyah, Lol that feud is gonna make miley look even more worst than she already is. For instance … Aaliyah knew appropriate stuff to wear, Miley is a hot mess ! Aaliyah was the most sweetest, nicest woman to ever walk this earth. She’s in heaven. She DIDN’T worship the devil. And every one dies when it’s their time (Unless they commit suicide.) So Kayla, YOU’RE THE BLIND ** ONE. When i saw her interviews, award shows, etc. I never saw her brag. Between Aaliyah and Miley, I see Miley as the one worshiping satan, and that’s just my opinion.

Yeah that was totally disrespectful for them not acknowledge her on day of her death ,but I wouldn’t even call that an award show it was a circus. The only performance made sense was lady ga ga .We will never forget you Aaliyah rest in peace songbird.

I believe they should of done a tribute to the late singer. They don’t have to do a tribute every year but when you have it on the day she tragically past away and held the vmas in the city she was born you need to show some respect and done something in her honor she loved performing and singing and she still has a lot of fans that miss her and still listening to her music which i am proud to be one

RIP Aaliyah
Gone but never forgotten
Miss you

MTV did Aaliyah tribute in 2001. What the heck should they do? Honor her every year? Should they honor every dead person every year?

Frankly I hated every time I saw attention seeking Miley’s performance or face. She is so desperate for attention she makes herself look trashy. But I also believe we shouldn’t keep having tributes to deceased performers every time we have a red carpet event. We have tributes when they die, a year after they die and so on. At what point do we stop? These award shows could go on for hours and hours and hours if we keep doing all these tributes to deceased performers.

That is so sad, they should of replaced that nasty stripper and put in the princess of r/b!!!!she is a legend she should be remembered every year, miley will always be the nasty girl she is,but aaliyah is dead, she can’t perform, she can’t dance, she is doing all that in heaven.that’s ridiculous why would they put in that ugly monkey and replace aaliyah, that shouldn’t be allowed.I was only 1 year old when aaliyah, died but I still love her and remember her.so does my mom and the rest of my family!!this was the worst award show ever,I’m glad I didn’t watch it.
They didn’t remember aaliyah
One d won an award
Miley stripped off her clothes for young children, and did inappropriate things
Selena only won one award
Stupid nsync reunited
What’s wrong with this, its just sad and disgusting.out of all things,at least remember the beautiful princess of r/b on the day of her death!!!!if aaliyah was here she would curse Miley Cyrus out,for not remembering her.and I know she is thinking about it in heaven.r.I.p beautiful angel u will never be forgotten,at least in my heart!!
