Fans may be ready to welcome Samantha Jones back to their TV screens with open arms next season, but she may cause trouble for Carrie as they’ll be getting into a bit of ‘mischief throughout the city,’ AnnaSophia Robb told HollywoodLife.com exclusively.
The second season of The Carrie Diaries will feature new friendships, new adventures and sexy new boys, as evidenced by the photo of AnnaSophia Robb kissing newcomer Chris Wood on set Aug. 20. And thanks to her newfound relationship with Samantha Jones (Lindsey Gort), Carrie will be getting into a lot of “mischief.”
‘The Carrie Diaries’ Season 2: Carrie Will Be ‘More Risque,’ Says AnnaSophia Robb
“I think [Samantha] will be [a bad influence on Carrie.] Season two is already starting out to be a bit more risque, but it’s still a lot of fun. Lindsey Gort plays the new Samantha and she’s awesome,” AnnaSophia told HollywoodLife.com exclusively Aug. 1 at the 2013 Young Hollywood Awards.
So what kind of trouble will the two be getting into? She said, “Boys will always be involved. They’re going to be getting into mischief throughout the city and sort of figuring out their friendship, getting to know each other and their different backgrounds.”
Carrie Bradshaw, Post-Sebastian
Following her heartbreaking split with Sebastian (Austin Butler), Carrie deserves a bit of fun. But Samantha may not be the best company for Carrie to keep.
“There are rocky points, definitely. Carrie meets Samantha and is like ‘Who is this chick? What is she about?’” AnnaSophia tells us.
Of course, we’ll have to wait to see if Samantha steals any boys from Carrie, specifically Sebastian.
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Should Carrie reunite with Sebastian, or is she better off playing the field?
