Raz-B Off Life Support — B2K Singer Wakes Up From Coma
While the former B2K singer is smiling and responsive, he’s allegedly remaining in the hospital for a few more days in order to be monitored, according to TMZ. Doctors say it’s a miracle that Raz-B is alive.
Raz-B Was Put On Life Support In China Hospital After Bottle Attack
Raz-B was hit in the face with a bottle while trying to break up a fight on August 15 at a club in China. He was rushed to a hospital, where he underwent minor surgery. Reportedly though, when he didn’t wake up the next day, his backup dancer rushed him to the hospital, as he had fallen into a life-threatening coma. The iconic R&B superstar was then put on life support, according to TMZ.
However, HollywoodLife.com spoke to Elayne Rivers, Raz-B’s publicist, who says that Raz was never in a coma in the first place: “Raz B was not in a coma. It is confirmed that he was injured in a nightclub. The comments about Raz being in a coma did not come from his official representative.” Elayne also adds, “In regards to the nightclub incident, he is healing fine.”
Raz-B’s Future After Bottle Attack
Once the singer is healthy and out of the hospital, he’ll likely continue working on his forthcoming album. He returned to the studio this summer to start working on the new album, which is expected to be released in the very near future.
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? We’re so happy that Raz-B is smiling and responsive. Our thoughts continue to go out to the singer and his loved ones during this difficult time.
