Jerry Remy’s Son Arrested For Stabbing His Girlfriend To Death

Longtime Boston Red Sox broadcaster, Jerry Remy’s son, has been arrested for allegedly killing his girlfriend, just one day after being released from jail for assaulting her!

Poor Jerry Remy! The Red Sox broadcaster got the shock of his life after his son Jared Remy, 34, was arraigned on murder charges in the horrifically brutal killing of his girlfriend Jennifer Martel, on Aug. 15.

Boston Red Sox Announcer’s Son Jared Remy Charged With Murder

The shocking event took place at Jennifer’s apartment complex around 10 p.m., and they found her with multiple stab wounds on her patio. Neighbors claim they tried to help but he came at them with the knife. He reportedly stabbed her in the kitchen, living room and on the stairs.

When police showed up, Jared was at the scene and covered in blood. To the horror of everyone, the day before Jared was released in an open assault and battery case against Jennifer.

The New England Sports Network released this statement: “All of us at NESN and the Red Sox, along with Jerry Remy, are filled with grief for everyone involved, and we extend our deepest sympathies to the family of Jennifer Martel.”

Jared Has A Very Violent Past & Has Assaulted Women Before

Jared has a long history of physical violence. He has a total of 15 criminal charges he has racked up since 1998 and he has assaulted five people, four of which are women. He’s also had three restraining orders against him too.

Also in the home at the time of Jennifer’s killing, was her 4-year-old child. Jared is currently being held without bail, as he should be.
