The actress, who played Topher Grace’s on-screen sister, passed away Aug. 14 in her sleep. So sad.
Another troubled actress has been taken from us before her time. Lisa Robin Kelly kept us in stitches as Eric’s (Topher Grace) outrageous older sister Laurie on That ’70s Show — and now, we’re sad to say, she’s passed on. TMZ reports that Lisa, 43, died in her sleep Aug. 14 at a California rehab facility.
“She had been fighting demons for a while and finally lost her battle,” Lisa’s agent tells the site.
Lisa Robin Kelly’s Troubled Past
Following her stint on That ’70s Show — she was a regular for two seasons and recurred for two more — Lisa’s life took a tragic turn. Between Aug. 2010 and June 2013, she was arrested on four separate occasions, ranging from driving under the influence to domestic assault.
Lisa’s agent tells TMZ she voluntarily checked herself into this latest rehab facility, honestly hoping she could get better.
Sadly, she never got the chance. Fans are devastated.
HollywoodLife.com has reached out to Lisa’s representatives for comment. And our thoughts are with her loved ones in this difficult time.
