A woman said no to her boyfriend’s proposal in front of an entire baseball stadium during the New Britain Rock Cats minor league game in Connecticut last week! Keep reading and watch the embarrassing video.

It’s every girl’s dream to be granted an extravagant and romantic proposal, whether it’s on the big screen at a basketball game, at a concert, or at a baseball game — oh wait, not everyone wants that. At the New Britain Rock Cats minor league game in Connecticut last week, a proposal went completely wrong when a woman, Jessica, said no to her boyfriend, David, when he asked for her hand in marriage! Wow — this is such a shock and so surprising.

Girlfriend Rejects Boyfriend’s Proposal At Baseball Stadium — Video

We still have chills after watching this proposal video, where David asks Jessica to marry him and her answer is: “David…I can’t. I’m sorry I can’t.”

Wow. We felt just as embarrassed as David did and we only watched the video! That’s not all — after Jessica says no, she runs away and David is left flabbergasted, standing there before they both run off in different directions!

At first, we were very confused and a bit speculative about whether the proposal was real or not, but then we thought, why would anyone make this up? David looked completely heartbroken and humiliated and we empathize with him! We can’t help but wonder though — why didn’t Jessica say yes?

We weren’t the only ones at a loss for words — the man speaking on the microphone, who introduced the couple, had nothing to say and instead, let out a loud laugh because he was so shocked. He later had to apologize for laughing!

We cannot believe this — we want to know what you guys think! Watch the video below.

i think that was fake. she seemed like she was acting, and wouldn’t he have run after her, not away from her? i don’t know… regardless, proposals should be private, in my book.

I always felt that people do these kinds of proposals with the hope that the crowd of people will pressure the other person to say yes. Sometimes the person appreciates the grand gesture or simply succumb to the pressure and say yes, other times they go into a near emotionless state of shock and say no. A similar thing happened to a friend of mine and after she said yes to a crowd of like 1000+ people at a local event, she felt so stressed out that for weeks she couldn’t sleep until she had to tell her boyfriend (who can be a little intense and dramatic sometimes) that they were moving way too fast. He them just dumped her, left overnight (they were staying at her parents house for the event) and 4 months later claims he doesn’t understand why she didn’t love him anymore or why she’s so pissed (understatement) hat he essentially dropped off the face of the earth for 4 months in the middle of the night. All she did was say no to the marriage, he’s the one who left her and then came crawling back 4 months later .
