Royal Baby’s Birth Certificate Revealed
On August 2, the official Clarence House Twitter page revealed a picture of a His Royal Highness’s first legal document with the caption, “The birth certificate for His Royal Highness Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge has been signed.”
If you imagined a royal baby’s birth certificate to be printed in regal calligraphy on gilded parchment paper, then Prince George’s straightforward handwritten document looks surprisingly more … legal. The official names and titles of Kate and Will barely fit in the form’s tiny boxes — and neither did their occupations! “Prince of the United Kingdom,” and “Princess of the United Kingdom,” are hefty occupations! Plus, the family’s “usual address” just so happens to be the Palace!
