‘Project Runway’ Season 12 Episode 3 Preview:
It’s all fun and games on the August 1 episode of Project Runway. This week, the designers are taken to a carnival where they fight for their prizes! On the season’s first team challenge, the designers must use the material from their carnival prizes to create a look. Guest judge Kelly Osbourne weighs in, looking less than impressed with some of the attire! Heidi Klum also looks shocked as the models walk the runway in mystery materials.
“It looks like you sat on a pool toy and it deflated,” judge, Zac Posen, tells a contender. The drama really kicks into high gear when 24-year-old Timothy Westbrook is seen crying — it looks like some other designers ganged up on him and left him far from happy.
Zac Posen On ‘Project Runway':
We spoke to Zac Posen exclusively this week and he gave us the scoop on what we can expect from this season — and what he would love to challenge the contestants to if it were up to him! When asked Posen who he thought was the best guest judge since his debut on the show, he picked friend and Fashion Police host, Kelly Osbourne!
“Kelly Osbourne is a superstar. She is one of my best friends in the world, but she is also excited about fashion and she loves it. She thrives on it. She was a great judge,” he gushed.
Aw, how sweet! We’re so excited to see what advice and criticisms Kelly has to offer this week. As for his own challenge? If Posen could pick he knows exactly what he would do! “Pattern-making challenges and construction. How originial and pure are the designs? I would like to see them construct a piece out of three or less pieces of fabric,” he says.
