Kate, you’re putting your infant son’s needs first just like any normal mom — royal protocol be damned!
Kate Middleton, Prince George Will Have A Great Life
Kate, you and Prince William, are clearly putting your role as parents ahead of your royal duties, and that’s how it should be. We all should put parenting ahead of everything else we do in life.
And in fact, that’s what your mother, Carole Middleton, and Prince William’s beloved late mom, Princess Diana did.
Actually Diana had to fight royal protocol to spend as much precious time with William and his brother, Prince Harry, as possible. She fought to be a hands-on mommy unlike previous royal mothers, who sent their children off to live in a separate nursery with nannies.
Queen Elizabeth reportedly only visited her four children once a day, when they were small.
Kate, You & Will Are Breaking Historic Traditions
But Kate, you and Prince William are going even further, breaking every rule in the royal book.
And you’ve both done that from the moment you had your first contraction. First, Prince William drove you himself with no chauffeur to the hospital, and stayed with you throughout the birth.
The Prince stunned onlookers when he, in normal Dad fashion, strapped Prince George in his baby carrier into your car and drove you all home!
“They’re loving (parenthood),” a friend told Us Weekly. “Every day is bringing new things to learn.”
It’s So Wonderful You’ve Decided To Breastfeed
Now, you are reportedly happily breastfeeding, which is such a smart decision. Babies should be breastfed exclusively for the first six months, recommends the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Experts believe breast milk is the “perfect food” for a human baby because it’s the best nutritional choice.
And aside from the nutritional benefits, Kate, you must also believe that breastfeeding is an incredible bonding experience for a mother and her baby — not something that most Kings and Queen ever worried about through the long history of the English monarchs.
But luckily for Prince George, both you and Prince William are dedicating themselves to bonding with your new baby boy, from the very start of his life.
There are no plans, reportedly, to hire a nanny for some time. “They’re doing as much as they can by themselves,” a family source told Us. “The baby is always with one of them, or asleep.” You are even planning to have the baby sleep in your room with you and Prince William, for several months!
You & Prince William Won’t Let School Separate You From Your Son
Furthermore, you’ve decided that as Price George gets older, you will break with another long royal tradition — you won’t send him away to boarding school.
Prince William was only eight when he was sent to boarding school and could only visit home once a month — he apparently hated it — can you blame him?
“Both William and Kate are against boarding school; that has been ruled out,” a source told Us.
And that is another decision that puts your son first. William has loved how close you are to your own parents, Kate, and in fact, how tight your entire family is.
He wants to create his own close, loving and un-separated family. He’s already been through the heartbreak of his parents marriage falling apart and then losing her in a tragic car accident.
So hooray for both of you for not standing on ceremony, skipping out of London two days after Prince George’s birth, and now immersing yourselves in caring for the needs of your new son.
He’s your son first, and being heir-to-the-throne, is not important now.
So HollywoodLifers, do you agree that Kate is being a wonderful hands-on mom? And is she wise to breastfeed like 77% of American moms? Let me know!
