Following the tragic death of her beloved boyfriend and co-star Cory Monteith, Lea has made the incredibly hard decision to return to ‘Glee.’ HollywoodLife.com exclusively learned that she is returning because she feels ‘safe in the environment.’
Since the news of Cory Monteith’s death broke, Lea Michele has made the brave decision to return to Glee, the show on which they met and fell in love. HollywoodLife.com exclusively learned that the show’s creator Ryan Murphy is allowing Lea to decide how Cory’s character Finn exits the show, and that she is returning to the show because she wants “some semblance of a normal life.”
Lea Michele Returning To ‘Glee’ After Cory Monteith’s Death
Lea, 26, was left “inconsolable” when her boyfriend of over one year, Cory, 31, died on July 13 from an overdose of heroin and alcohol. HollywoodLife.com previously reported that she would not leave the show, because it is what she and Cory did together.
However, the producers are being most sensitive as to what she wants. A source close to show told us:
Lea will sign off on everything Ryan brings up to her before something is filmed. Ideas have been thrown around, and one of the reasons to wait to address the death is so the cast can heal a bit and they can also go through every possible idea to make it as poignant and respectable and good for the show as possible.
Lea is so mature. She is also so selfless, because she knows that if the show does not go on, many crew members will be out of work.
Lea knows how to be a professional and she knows many of the cast needs the money so she is ready to get back and get back some semblance of a normal life. She feels that she’ll be safe in the environment of work with her cast and crew of friends.
Lea is truly inspiring.
Lea Michele: When Will She Return To The Public Eye?
Lea is yet to be photographed or seen in the public eye since the death of Cory, and HollywoodLife.com exclusively learned that every single media outlet is dying to get the first interview with the grief stricken star.
“There has been every show from Jay Leno to The View trying to get the first interview though with Lea,” says our source.
What do YOU think HollywoodLifers? Do YOU think Lea is making the right decision to return to the show?
