I like the show, but I think the “jewelry business” was poorly thought out. WHO is their Target Customer? Fundie Christians can’t stand regular Mormons, much less plygs. (Of course who DO Fundie Christians like, as they are all judgement towards others?) Regular Mormons are out as customers, as they SAY they are against polygamy. “My Sisterwives’ Closet” have the most in common, lifesty;e wise, with the Kink Crowd (as many Kinksters are Polyamourous) or GLBT people. However, the Browns’ self proclaimed “conservatism” is going to turn off both Kinksters and GLBT people. If they started selling double female and male sign jewelry, Kink related jewelry (slave collars, cuffs, etc) they might make a go of it. But, I doubt they would do this. Business has to go where their CUSTOMERS are, and the Browns don’t seem to have a customer base.

It looks like they have a business with NO Target Consumer. Sadly, for them, I can’t see many people buying their wares. They really should have done a feasibilty study of just WHOM they were catering to BEFORE they invested all this time and money in a business with virtually NO customer base.
