I can’t believe the lack of love that McKayla’s getting. I think she’s drop dead gorgeous. In fact I’d let her sit on my face and I’d suck I. Her butt gas.. She’s the only girl on this entire planet who’s could fart in my face. iI would suck the gas right out of her butt. So the heck with all you haters.

Omg mckayla maroneys dres was horrible!!! She also gained weight. Once she retires from gymnastics, (which I hope is soon) she will turn into Adele.

Screw the fierce five! I’m so sick of hearing about them. They are yesterday’s news. There was no way they were beating out any of the four pro teams maybe the other two. The only ones voting for the fierce five are gymnastics fans. People liked them during the Olympics but once that ended only gymnastics fans stuck with them and the rest of the country forgot about them. I have to agree with the others below. I can’t stand mckayla maroney and that face. She choked in the Olympics and we give her endorsement over her face rather than her medals. Only in the US. Btw mckayla had the ugliest dress and hair style i have ever seen. I hope mckayla breaks both legs this time so her gymnastics career comes to an end once and for all.

Normally, as a legal immigrant, I would not comment in these awards. However, the manner and style that Lebron James showed in honoring Robin Roberts is truly memorable. God bless you both.

I am a huge Blackhawks fan and I’m so disappointed they didn’t win. I can’t stand the Miami heat because everything’s about lebron James. I really resent the fact that everything resolves around lebron James. I can’t stand him of the heat! Glad the fierce five didnt win. I love gabby douglas jordyn Weiber and Kyla Ross. Just can’t stand mcksyla maroney and aly raisman because they are stuck up. Raismsn at least carried the team where maroney did one good vault but that stupid face she made and the fact she got so much attention for it shows whats wrong with our country. Mckayla maroney is all that’s wrong with the US.

You’re an idiot, maroney made that face because she was upset about getting silver, there is nothing wrong with wanting to be first, it just showed her drive and determination to be the best, if she didn’t want to win the gold, then I would be mad at her

Not liking mckayla maroney doesn’t make her an idiot. I resent that she posts selfies of herself on twitter and Instagram just so everyone can say how hot/gorgeous she is (which she isn’t). She doesnt care about her fan base (kids) only about being a sex symbol so it sets the stage for launching her acting career (which shes not talented enough for). i just wish she would re-injure herself and go away for good.

I have watched this guy since college. Drew Brees and this guy are the best QBs I ever watched in college football. And I am a Boise State guy. Kaepernick cost us a national championship one year. We beat the SEC. We beat the PAC 12. We lost to Kaepernick. Now the NFL gets to watch this guy. I am a Seahawk fan and he is the “other guy” once again. Good luck Kaepernick. You are the best!

USA gymnastics was robbed in the best team award category. No basketball team could ever work as hard as those girls did, and their success was monumental. Those two teams aren’t even in the same stratosphere. (But it’s okay, they have Olympic gold medals they don’t need a silly trophy)

I’m glad the fierce five didnt win. I’m so sick of hearing about them. Gabby douglas and aly raisman carried that team the other three are a joke especially mckayla (she looked fat in that ugly gold dress). Stupid girl acts like a sore-loser for winning silver makes a stupid face and makes money off of it. Weiber choked Ross did nothing of note … So no they didn’t deserve to even be nominated let alone win.f

You’re right those two teams aren’t in the same stratosphere. The US women’s gymnastics team shouldn’t even have been nominated let alone win. Lebron James is way out of their league. I knew the Fierce Five didnt have a chance.

How sad to have someone like Sean Combs try to impress athletes by trying to quote Vince Lombardi… Next time Mr, Combs get the quote correct before you try to say it!!! Sad Sad Sad!!!!

Kyle Dake was hands down the best college athlete. It’s a shame Manziel got the popularity vote.

Russell Wilson not getting Best Breakthrough athlete is a joke. Colin Kaepernick showed barely a glimmer of hope in his paltry 8 games while Russell Wilson got overlooked 100 times over in the draft and outperformed him on many different levels. A total farce if you ask me.

I hate how the NHL and Hockey always gets shafted by the American Media

There is something wrong with you if you think hockey sucks. It is by far the best playoffs in professional sports. Go back to your predetermined NBA games. I’m sure you will enjoy seeing Lebron win another one next year!

Since Abby didn’t get the award, I sure hope Alex Morgan or Crystal Dunn will win an award for the US Women’s soccer. I hope women’s soccer will gain popularity and I’m so proud of all of the women that were nominated from the team.

Someone who's pissed

Posted at 10:32 PM on July 17, 2013

Abby Wamback deserved the record-breaking performance award way more than Phelps did. Women’s soccer is just not as recognized as everything else. She not only broke the international record but she did that by scoring FOUR goals on one game. I mean…..

Yes, Abby Wamback deserved the “record-breaking” performance award for her record in international women’s soccer over the guy who holds countless world records, including one that establishes him as the greatest Olympic athlete of all time. Give me a break…

We aren’t talking about best career, or even best athlete. Isn’t this best in the last year? I have no idea who Abby is or what Phelps has done since the last Olympics, but don’t being up past performances for a yearly award. That defeats the purpose.
