Rihanna: Chris Brown Jail Time? — RiRi Doesn’t Want Him To Do Time For Assault
Chris is devastated that a judge revoked his probation on July 15 following an alleged hit-and-run accident in May. We told you Chris hasn’t even eaten since it happened!
Despite their troubled past, a source close to Rihanna tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY that the 25-year-old Bajan beauty wishes Chris well.
“She doesn’t want anything bad happening to him or him going to jail over her,” the source reveals.
At this point, there’s nothing Rihanna can do to keep Chris out of trouble, but she is concerned for his welfare.
“She already forgave him and made her peace with him and that whole situation,” the source reveals. “It’s out of her hands, and there’s nothing she can do but wish him the best.”
Chris Brown Could Serve Four Years In Prison
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Breezy, 24, could be facing four years in jail for his 2009 assault of Rihanna, after a Los Angeles judge’s latest ruling against him. But luckily, the “Fina China” singer’s PR team says the case will likely be dismissed next week, with his probation reinstated on the same terms!
Chris’ team sent HollywoodLife.com a statement, saying:
“This morning in court in Van Nuys, the lawyer for the driver in the hit and run case clearly specified that his client did not want to press charges, that any damage was “negligible,” that Chris did identify himself at the scene, and that she was given all of the appropriate insurance information. We are hopeful that the case will be dismissed next week. Based on this new charge, as required by law, Judge Brandlin, who is supervising Mr. Brown’s probation, is required to revoke Chris’ probation. However, once the Van Nuys case is dismissed, we expect this matter to be resolved and his probation to be reinstated on the same terms and conditions. Chris was released on his own recognizance today by both judges.”
Now it’s your turn to sound off, HollywoodLifers. Given everything that has happened between Chris and Rihanna, do you think the two could ever be friends again?
