Darren paid tribute to his late ‘Glee’ co-star July 15 at a New York City screening of his new movie ‘Girl Most Likely.’
Despite still grieving the loss of his Glee co-star and friend Cory Monteith — who passed away July 13 — Darren Criss attended a screening of his first feature film Girl Most Likely on July 15. To honor Cory’s memory, Darren pinned a black ribbon on his suit.
We admire the simple, yet meaningful, way Darren paid tribute to Cory. He posed for photographs, but did not answer any questions.
Although he attended the screening, Darren canceled his July 16 appearance on Live With Kelly & Michael, and fellow co-star Matthew Morrison canceled his performance on the show July 18.
The screening was hosted by The Cinema Society and Brooks Brothers at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema in New York City. The after party was at Hotel Americano, where the guests sipped on Kim Crawford Wines.

The film follows Imogene Duncan (Kristen Wiig) who is a writer that is forced to move back in with her mother (Annette Bening) after a fake suicide attempt. In the film, Darren plays Lee, a young man leasing out Imogene’s bedroom from her mother.
