Just a little over a week after posing nude for the ‘ESPN The Magazine’ Body Issue, Polish tennis star Agnieszka Radwanska is facing some backlash from a Catholic youth group. Read on for more details.
World-renowned tennis player Agnieszka Radwanska, 24, is being dropped as an ambassador of a Catholic youth group in her native Poland after she posed nude for the 2013 edition of the annual ESPN The Magazine Body Issue. While we thought her photos were a tasteful way to show the beauty of the human body, the Catholic youth movement seems to disagree.

While the ESPN The Magazine Body Issue is meant to celebrate the beauty of the human body and all that it can achieve, the Catholic youth group that Agnieszka acted as an ambassador for is focused on one thing — Agnieszka’s lack of modesty. The group, Krucjata Mlodych (or Youth Crusade, in English), has decided to distance itself from Agnieszka, saying the photos display “immoral behavior.”
One of the pictures in question shows Agnieszka clutching a pair of tennis balls and dipping her toes into a pool filled with even more tennis balls as she lounges nude in a lawn chair. While she wears no clothing, nothing is revealed due to careful positioning of her arms and legs.
