Plus, Corey was Canadian, so why would an American flag be draped over his coffin?? People are idiots.

Lea {never could stand her} is such a drama queen, as she & Monteith were not even together when he “O—–D!”

The young man in that casket was Jason Edens from Franklin, TN and he was my cousin’s son. Her family is heartbroken that this picture of Jason’s wife is being misused in this way. Stupid Hollywood egomaniacs… think they can just usurp anyone’s grief and make a big show of it.

1). Cory Monteith is Canadian, not American. Therefore his casket would have been draped by a Canadian flag.

2). An inspiration? He did drugs! And died from a cocktail of drugs and alcohol. How is that an inspiration?

It sickens me that this picture of a widow and her deceased veteran husband is mucked up by the media claiming it’s a self-absorbed little rich girl grieving over her boyfriend. I’m sure Lea will be fine, but as for the military families who lose loved ones every day?

Wow you sound as if this is Lea’s fault? She had nothing to do with this pictures so why are you bashing her so much? Why are dismissing her feeling she lost someone she care about too.

Anyone, with a functioning brain, knows this is the casket of an American Serviceman. Wow… imagine how the woman in this heartfelt pic felt when she saw that people weren’t grieving with her because of the loss of an American Hero, rather, an actress mourning her beloved boyfriend. R.I.P. to both The American Hero and Cory. 6od help us all if we can’t respect the sanctity of a Hero who gave his all for us.

Obviously this isn’t Lea Michele, it’s a widowed woman saying goodbye to her husband who died in Afghanistan. Not only is this disrespectful to Lea and Cory’s memory, it’s disrespectful to the actually person in this photograph who was obviously greiving and may still be. And that caption, “She was supposed to wear white and say ‘I do’ but she’s wearing black and said ‘Goodbye’” is also not relevant. They were not engaged. Someday they may have been, but they weren’t. I am devastated by Cory’s death, he was an idol to me and I was a huge fan of his. Lea Michele is my favorite actress in the whole wide world and I’m truly feeling for her right now. My thoughts are going towards Cory and Lea’s families as well as his friends. Stay strong Lea, the Gleeks are with you on this one. Please stop spreading this picture around, it’s disrespectful. And to the people who are angry and say that Cory didn’t matter and isn’t as important as that soldier in that coffin, that’s also disrespectful. He was a human being and a lot of people looked up to him, respected him, and loved him. Please don’t insult his memory by being selfish and inconsiderate. Thank you.

This show how stupid people are really dumb. First they haven’t even done the autopsy so why would he be in a coffin already. He dead in Canada near his his home, why would they be at a airport and more importantly he is Candi an why would he have a US flag draped around his coffin? And the fact that , that isn’t Lea Michele.

Jason was one of my husband’s soldiers and losing him was a huge blow to everyone who knew him, obviously. When this photo was released of Ashley, our hearts broke more, as the two of them are (were) the sweetest, most genuine people you could know. The use of that photo in what appears to be some type of sick publicity stunt is just revolting and whoever keeps circulating it should be ashamed of themselves. I was just as upset as most fans when I heard about Cory, but the situation with this picture has just turned me from sad to furious. I feel for Lea, sincerely, but not enough to minimize the feelings of my actual friend in the other photo, who’s grief in her last moment with her husband has now been sensationalized and abused.
And whoever was dumb enough to make this picture up, I really hope they were in 8th grade, otherwise they need to go back to school, as Cory was Canadian and that’s an American flag… not that actors get flags anyway…

Corey was Canadian and died in Canada. We don’t drape actors coffins in American flags. I know the Americans tend to be culturally ignorant, but surely you can’t be that dumb.
