The first lady made a very fashionable appearance when she touched down with her family, sporting a pretty printed frock. Only Michelle can step fresh off a flight looking perfectly polished!
Michelle Obama, 49, arrived in Senegal, Africa on June 27 with President Obama and their two daughters, Sasha and Malia. The first lady was looking stylish and elegant, as usual, in a white and black printed dress with a belt that showed off her figure. The whole family was looking great but we can’t help but gush about Michelle!
Michelle Obama’s Africa Trip:
The first lady is an inspiration in so many ways. From fighting childhood obesity to helping employ veterans to promoting the arts, she’s constantly raising awareness for issues — and she applies her passion and drive to her fashion choices as well! Michelle has a lot of responsibilities as first lady, including a responsibility to the public to look constantly fabulous, which is a burden she bears effortlessly.
Michelle Obama’s Senegal Dress:
In a Zero + Maria Cornejo dress from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection Michelle looked picture perfect stepping off the plane in Senegal. The dress featured three-quarter sleeves and the hemline hit mid-calf. The v-neck balanced out the almost full coverage of the dress. The print was mostly white with a black triangle pattern displayed largely around the middle with accents on the sleeves, hem and shoulders. The print gave the dress a tribal or tie-dye feel and gave Michelle an hourglass figure which she proudly highlighted further by adding a studded black and silver belt. The first lady loves cinching in her waist — and we can’t say we blame her!
She wore flats and just simple earrings with her hair in a relaxed bob. The dress looks like it is made of a comfortable, breathable material that kept Michelle comfy during the plane ride. Finding an outfit that’s comfy for a long plane ride but still stuns when it hits the tarmac isn’t easy but by now Michelle is a pro at it. She looks great and is clearly having an impact on her daughters because they look equally as stylish.
