Kristen’s new leading man in ‘Camp X-Ray’ may help her get over Robert Pattinson. He’s sexy, rugged and charmingly handsome. After weeks of anticipation, the actor’s identity has finally been revealed — can you guess who it is?
Peyman Moaadi: Kristen Stewart’s New Movie Co-Star — ‘Camp X-Ray’
Peyman Moaadi, who starred in A Separation, is set to star opposite K-Stew in writer-director Peter Sattler’s politically-charged indie drama Camp X-Ray, TheWrap reports.
We can definitely foresee some intense onscreen chemistry between Kristen and Peyman. Furthermore, the premise of Camp X-Ray sounds very intriguing.
“Having escaped from her suffocating small town into the military, Cole (Kristen Stewart) had been hoping for a tour of duty in Iraq. Instead, she’s sent to Guantanamo. Met with hatred and abuse from the Muslim men in her charge, Cole finds herself forging an odd friendship with Ali (Peyman Moaadi), who has been imprisoned at Gitmo for eight years.”
Army Wives star Joseph Julian Soria will co-star as one of Kristen’s closest friends on the base.
Peyman Moaadi: Who Is He?
Peyman, 42, will soon be seen in The Last Knights with Morgan Freeman. He also worked with James Gandolfini on the HBO pilot Criminal Justice, but that’s now in limbo following James’ death.
Don’t expect any offscreen feelings to blossom between Kristen and Peyman — he’s happily married.
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Is Peyman Moaadi the perfect leading man for Kristen Stewart?
