In an EXCLUSIVE interview with HollywoodLife.com, Michelle revealed exactly how it felt to lose out to Danielle Bradbery, and why she thinks Danielle is a worthy winner.
In the tense season finale of The Voice on June 18, Michelle Chamuel lost out to Danielle Bradbery, but instead of being bitter about it, she reveals EXCLUSIVELY to HollywoodLife.com that she is happy for her “capable and classy” rival.
Michelle Chamuel Loses Out To Danielle Bradbery
Michelle, 27, lost out to 16-year-old Danielle, and she admits that she thinks it was for the best.
“A lot of different things [went through my head],” Michelle tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “It was like, Oh My God! But when they called her name, it was for the best. Danielle is the person that America needs to hear. I am such a fan and so excited for her!”
Michelle is so sweet and so gracious to be happy for her competitor. Furthermore, she calls Danielle “classy” for being so composed when winning.
This girl is the most kind and smart person I have ever met and she is so capable and classy, and for being 16, it’s amazing. When I was 16 I would have exploded or melted and screamed and run away or have gone to the bathroom. I don’t know what to say! I was just thinking no matter what I hope it all works out for the best!
Michelle also spilled about her future plans, and yes, her mentor Usher will be involved!
Michelle Plans To Work With Usher In The Future
Michelle is clearly so grateful to Usher for taking her all the way to the final:
He is a coach that I will be consulting with and interacting with and developing a relationship with for a long time to come. Plus the things he has already taught me in my life, it has brought a sense of community.
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Did Michelle deserve to win The Voice? Or are you glad it was Danielle?
