Ke$ha gets a makeover for the cover of the fitness mag, where she admits that her party girl persona couldn’t be any further from the truth!

Ke$ha looks fabulous in her cover shoot for SELF magazine — in fact, we almost didn’t recognize the 26-year-old singer! She looks so fresh and natural, which is definitely a change from her edgy, rocker chic look — and inside she reveals that although many think she’s a lush that clearly isn’t the case.

Ke$ha’s ‘SELF’ Interview:

“People think I sit around and drink whiskey all day, but I couldn’t keep up on a three-month tour if I were getting hammered every night. My show is very energetic—I dance and sing at the same time and run around. Training for a tour is like training for a marathon.”

Ke$ha’s ‘SELF’ Cover:

Ke$ha shows some skin in her photo shoot for SELF mag – and we are very impressed! She took off her crazy and wild outfits and makeup to pose very bare and natural. She is seen jumping around in a tight black body suit and her legs look absolutely fabulous! You can even find out how she gets her awesome toned legs by following her leg workout. Sporting a neon hoodie from Forever 21, LuLu Lemon Athletica black shorts and a sports bra, the singer looks better than ever.

Ke$ha’s Fitness Goals:

“First, I want to be a great dance commander [at my shows]. But I also want to look good when I’m nearly naked onstage in front of thousands of people. I’d prefer it to be a pleasant experience when people look at me.”

Ke$ha On Her Diet:

“Eighty percent of the time I watch my portions and eat veggies and lean protein. It’s excruciatingly boring, but it makes my body happy. The other 20 percent of the time, I do whatever I want. It’s OK to sometimes eat a f—ton of chocolate!”

Ke$ha On Sleeping Habits:

“It’s a luxury. I usually try to get a good six hours, from 3 a.m. to 9 a.m. When I can’t sleep, I bedazzle my clothes and watch The Golden Girls. I have a bit of Blanche in me. I’m a bit of an adventure junkie.”

Wow, we definitely saw a side of Ke$ha that we have never seen before — and we definitely like the natural, honest side she’s showing off!

She needs to do more to move away from the party girl image. It was always silly anyway since she’s one of the better behaved celebrities. A vegetarian, animal rights activist, mommy’s girl who got accepted to Ivy League colleges was not the best person to do this with. Her label was stupid to try it, especially when most of her songs aren’t even party songs. It was obvious she would tire of the party thing quickly and want to move toward more serious music. It’s time for RCA to stop promoting her like this and release grown up songs like Love Into the Light, Wonderland and Last Goodbye as singles instead of stuff like Die Young and Crazy Kids.
