They may have spent the season competing against each other, but on June 17, all four coaches came together with a little help from their friends, literally.
While the contestants performed, one last time, to prove they have what it takes to win The Voice, coaches Blake Shelton, Shakira, Adam Levine and Usher put aside their competitive side to perform The Beatles‘ hit, “With a Little Help From My Friends.”
‘The Voice’ Coaches Come Together For Performance
Throughout season four, the coaches on The Voice have been all about the competition. Remember when Adam told Shakira to shut up in Spanish?
Well, they put it all behind them on June 17. Although Blake and Usher are the only ones still in the competition, they joined the stage with Shakira and Adam for quite the performance.
(Was I the only one who thought of The Wonder Years?)
Anyways, Shakira brought back her sexy leather boots for the amazing performance. Usher’s R&B voice, mixed with Blake’s country twang, was perfectly complimentary. Meanwhile, Shakira’s unique voice and Adam’s high notes made the performance.
And yes, we saw Blake nod at Adam when he said “somebody to love” — an adorable bromance moment.
