Ever since Fifth Harmony announced its first single June 7, we’ve been anxiously awaiting the release of ‘Miss Movin’ On,’ and now it’s finally here! Come listen!

Fifth Harmony, the girl group formed by Simon Cowell on season two of The X Factor, has been hard at work putting together its debut album — and we can’t wait to hear it! In the meantime, the group has finally released its first single, “Miss Movin’ On.” Get a first listen, and let us know what you think!

Fifth Harmony Announces Debut Single

The girls of Fifth Harmony have been putting together their debut album ever since they tweeted a picture from the studio in February. They announced their first single off the album on June 7, and we’ve been counting down the days since!

In an interview with Idolator, the ladies said their new album was “fun,” and listed Demi Lovato, Katy Perry, the Spice Girls, and Destiny’s Child as some of their many influences. Sounds like they’ll be in good company!

Fifth Harmony Receives Support From ‘X Factor’ Judges

Ever since Fifth Harmony placed third on The X Factor in Dec. 2012, the girls have been building up buzz around their post-X Factor career and debut album by using the hashtag #5HTheDreamBegins6713 on Twitter. Simon, of course, has given the band he formed his full support; and fellow X Factor judge LA Reid has been tweeting up a storm about the ladies.

When the girls announced that “Miss Movin’ On” would be their debut single, LA tweeted, “Great choice @FifthHarmony! Can’t wait for your dream to begin.” So nice!

Fifth Harmony signed a joint contract with LA’s Epic Records and Simon’s Syco Music back in January. We’re glad to see them both taking such an involvement with the girls’ careers!

So, HollywoodLifers? What do you think of Fifth Harmony’s first single?

Wow. I thought the girls could sing well enough, yet i’ve bombarded by autotune crap from the start. Awful!

I’ll wait to hear a song in which they actually sing. (if there is ever one)

The most ironically named group is Fifth Harmony since they don’t actually sing any.

Why do they have to be sluts? If you don’t have anything good to say don’t type on the board.
