The biggest movie of the summer is finally here! ‘Man Of Steel’ kicked off its world premiere in New York City on June 10, and stars like Amy and the hunky new Superman, Henry Cavill, were out to celebrate.
No surprise here — the Man Of Steel world premiere red carpet was an event fit for superheroes! Held at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall in New York City on June 10, the Superman movie’s stars and many other celebs came out to for the blockbuster event.
Amy Adams, Henry Cavill & More At ‘Man Of Steel’ World Premiere
Amy Adams, who’s playing the iconic role of Lois Lane in Man of Steel, was looking amazing on the carpet. In a strapless black dress with a sheer lace back, the 38-year-old actress looked elegant and subtly sexy.
But we were just as excited to see the new Superman, Henry Cavill, step into the spotlight. The Brit actor, who has also starred in Immortals and The Tudors, looked way hunkier and cooler than Superman’s alter-ego, Clark Kent, in a sharp gray suit with a powerful black tie. We totally get why he was casted after seeing his strong presence on the carpet!
Amy and Henry were also joined by co-stars Kevin Costner and Michael Shannon. In the movie, Kevin plays Superman’s father, while Michael plays the villain, General Zod. Michael has a knack for being menacing and terrifying in his roles, so that should be a perfect fit.
It was a huge night for a huge movie. Man of Steel is definitely going to wow us, and it was nice to see the world premiere live up to the hype. What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Let us know!
