The star ditched her boho chic style and took a trip back in time when she dressed up as the iconic Cher Horowitz! What do you think of her get-up?
Just when we thought we couldn’t like Vanessa Hudgens even more, she proved that she’s seriously cool when she dressed up in a Clueless-inspired get-up. She left her maxi skirts and flowing tops at home and instead decided to have a little fun playing dress up when she attended a screening of Clueless at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. The 24-year-old star channeled Cher Horowitz when she rocked a mini skirt, knee socks, and cropped sweater. How adorable was her outfit?
Vanessa Hudgens ‘Clueless’ Outfit:
We barely recognized Vanessa in her preppy get-up! She showed up to Hollywood Forever Cemetery with a group of friends which included her sister, Stella Hudgens. She rocked her best Cher look, sporting a pleated floral mini, a white button-down shirt, and a cropped black knit sweater. While her knee-socks added the finishing touches to the Clueless look she also added round sunglasses and a long necklace with a large silver cross hanging off of it — perhaps it was a nod to her boho sense of style? Her sister, the spitting image of Vanessa, opted for a pleated plaid mini and a blazer.
It is obvious that Vanessa is a huge Clueless fan, just like us! She took to her Tumblr to post the pics from her fun night with the caption, “Can’t believe I was only 6 years old when Clueless was released. Such a cult classic! When I heard it was playing at Hollywood Forever Cemetery this past weekend, we got our tix right away. And, of course, we had to play dress up :) #ASIF!!! So many memories! What’s your favorite cult classic?Xo V”
This wasn’t the first time the boho chic star shared her obsession with the cult classic. In fact, back in August 2011 she posted a picture of the Clueless movie cover on her official website.
We love that Vanessa is such a big fan of the flick! Do you like her retro makeover or do you prefer her boho chic look?
