One thing is that if you find yourself searching for a student loan
you may find that you will want a cosigner. There are many scenarios where this is true because you will find that you do not possess a past credit standing so the lender will require that
you have someone cosign the loan for you. Interesting
post.

She’s as Bipolar as the day is long…a little lithium goes a long way–take responsibility for yourself and get the loooong overdue treatment!

If she won’t accept or consider the fact that she has some issues that need to be addressed/ get help for, there’s not much that anyone can do for her. She has to be the one to acknowledge and take responsibility for whats going on. You can’t force anyone to do anything they don’t want to do. it’d be like “beating a dead horse and expecting it to move.”
I would suggest that her parents or whoever she has a close bond with, help her to see what it is that she’s doing to herself, In a calm, non-judgmental supporting way. I think it would also help to stay clear of mental health stigma, and help her be aware that she isn’t alone.

If people love amanda they will leave her alone. On the other hand I do not agree with here choices. Terible and I use to love “what I like about you” but she is turning into a diffrent person. Like all the other 20 something year old stars.

Bynes has sever mental problems and she thinks using the drug will make her straight but, it’s only making things worse.
She is a danger to herself and others so why can they not put her in a hospital where she can get help before she kills herself? Bynes needs HELP!!!!! it’s too late to talk about her after she is gone when someone can DO something NOW….

I really think it’s not the drugs, this looks mental.
She may be taking drugs, but she needs to go to a mental hospital before they send her to rehab. She’s crazy, not high. She could be both, and that’s defiantly not a good combination. Poor Amanda, what happened? :(

If you were “worried about Amanda”… you wouldn’t be calling her behavior “so funny” and soundtracking it to Gnarls Barkley’s “Crazy”. You people are vie. A young girl’s menyal implosion is not entertainment.

You cannot admit someone to a psychiatric hospital because they are mentally ill. It does not work that way. If she was homicidal, suicidal, or could not feed or dress herself, then you could hospitalize her. Otherwise you can’t. It’s unconstitutional. You also can’t expect a person with this type of illness to take the initiative themselves. An unreasonable mind cannot make reasonable decisions for themselves. This is the gray abyss that most mentally ill people fall into. We cannot help them. They cannot help themselves.

I don’t blame them. I wish there was someway her parents could override the courts and have Amanda admitted to a mental ward. From what I have reading about her and looking at the pics of her antics a mental hospital should be the first place that comes to mind. Just because she was talking coherently in court does not mean she’s well mentally. Guess the courts have to wait until she’s talking like a complete blubbering idiot before they give the parents permission to admit her. This system is so backwards.

It’s admirable that her parents are still trying to guide her decisions and watch over her in this way. But, ultimately it is up to Amanda to want it for herself. Yes, sometimes life pressures can get the best of us, but when do you say I take responsibility and it’s all on me. I think Amanda is still resting on her parents to blame in all this and that is part of the problem. The other is Amanda taking responsibility and doing something to help herself. No drug is worth abusing myself and risking my health to continue using. At some point u must look at the man in the mirror or woman in the mirror and man up, which is extremely difficult, but not impossible.

No offense, but you clearly have never been around someone mentally ill. You are talking about a spoiled brat who feels self-entitled and does drugs without wanting repercussions-NOT someone who is actually, really, legitimately mentally sick.

All a court can do is send her to rehab, but that would likely be a futile endeavor. Just like back when Britney Spears went to rehab and it did nothing to help her. There is nothing else the state can do, in their defense. Yeah, Amanda would basically have to admit herself into a psychiatric facility. But why would she do that? Why would any schizophrenic do that? Most schizophrenics would rather live under a bridge, push their belongings in a shopping cart, and eat out a dumpster, then voluntarily go to a hospital.
