Zach Sobiech has left a lasting memory with his song “Clouds.” The 18-year-old touched the lives of everyone who had a chance to meet him and watch his videos. Now celebrities who either met him or came across his story are taking to social media to share their thoughts on the sad passing of Zach.

Zach died after a long battle with cancer. He was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a bone disease, at the young age of 14. After he released his song “CLouds” on YouTube in December 2012, he ended up meeting several celebrities who taped a music video of themselves singing the song. Now celebs are taking to Twitter to talk about it.

Zach’s Family Releases A Statement
His family had time to come to terms with his death but it’s still incredibly difficult for them. In a statement after Zach’s death, they said:
“It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of our son Zachary David Sobiech. Our family has been blessed not only by his amazing presence in our lives, but also by the love and support of our family and friends and by so many people in the community. In particular we’d like to thank those people who listened with their hearts and helped Zach bring his message and his music to the world.”
