Everyone who’s come on here or gone anywhere else on the internet and complained that poor little Zendaya was ripped off and that Kellie was cold, or that ABC intentionally setup the internet to fail Zendaya, crying like little babies, are complete and utter losers in life. There’ve been years that I thought the wrong person won, but I never went on the internet right afterward and said it. People with completely selfish egos and zero moral standards have no qualms blaming everything and everyone else for the unfulfilled lives that they lead. You think that since you wanted Zendaya to win and she didn’t, that it somehow reflects on you and you just can’t have it. It doesn’t matter at all what the judges say, since, when they’re judging, they’re about as unreliable as anyone can get. Like Jacoby deserved anything near a 30 while on the show. Every dance he was completely pigeon toed and almost always hunched over. Sean or Ingo would’ve been hammered for it. If the judges were fair, they wouldn’t caved to the moronic actions of his mother, always opening her big mouth, instead of sitting there with respect for the show like every other family member that attended. Jacoby with 2 perfect scores proves that the judges aren’t judging fairly, so, in the end, the fans who watch the show on television must be the voice of reason and good judgement, and when they spoke, they named Kellie the champion. No matter how many times it’s written that she should’ve, could’ve, would’ve, she didn’t win. All of you whiny little souls need to move on in your pitiful little lives and deal with it. America has spoken and it’s already been revealed that Zendaya didn’t win, she never will win, and in a couple of more years, no one will hear about her anymore. She’s a Disney actress no less. Kellie will be around for decades to come as both a country singer and a Dancing With The Stars Champion.

You are the one that sounds bitter, does Kellie even know you? If you are a Kellie fan then let it stay there but dont trash Zendaya, atleast people knows her, no one knows you, leave her alone and let her strive. She is a hard working young lady, and if she had won, it still would have been fair, because she and Kellie both did well.

So many people are saying that the voting being down on ABC’s website was rigged against Zendaya. That makes no sense. None of the Abc votes were counted for any contestant. Why would Zendaya necessarily have had more votes on ABC.com than any other contestant (and less on the other voting methods)? The isn’t evidence to suggest that this might be the case, and is pure speculation. Besides, even if the conspiracy theory holds water, the lack of votes counting from ABC.com did it affect the standings going into the top 3, so what does it matter?

One more thing. The show needs to start divulging the final scores to everyone so nut cases like the person who wrote this article can stay under the rock they came out from under and stop stirring up trouble when their really should be none.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions. Because the person who wrote the article does not agree with the result it does not mean she’s a nutcase. I bet if it was Zendaya who had won the trophy, you and many others kellie and derek fans would also be whining. Same story every season, though this one is really tainted by the voting fiasco. Sorry it is but I’m not dwelling on it anymore. Be positive, grow up and instead of coming here and bashing, go to celebrate your winner’s victory.

Unless of course they would’ve done it for your favorite, right? People today are so hypocritical she things don’t go their way. One says, the judges gave Zendaya more perfect scores than anyone else, yet her total for the season was less than Kellie’s, and then another goes on to say, I don’t think the judges should give standing ovations, unless of course, it would’ve been for Sendaya, then it would’ve proven to everyone that she was definitely the best. HYPOCRITES!

Zendaya is also a profesional dancer and should never been allowed to compete on an ameture dancing comp. Don’t give me that “I was trained in hip hop dancing” BS. Thats about as ridiculous as saying a figure skater has no advantage in a Ice skating race because she was a figure skater and not a racer. Dancing is still dancing. Kelli’s final dance BLEW zendaya”s off the floor. You couldn’t even compare the two. Thats why kellie won. Even with Zendaya being a pro she just couldn’t keep up.

Where was everyone when Katherine Jenkins lost to Donald Driver 2 years ago and Shawn Johnson lost to Melissa last year. The two of them were head and shoulders above the rest when it came to actual dancing ability and performance, yet they didn’t win. Driver was a football star and we know that they vote for their own and Melissa and Tony won the sympathy votes with the we’re the only ones who don’t have one of those mirrorball trophies. PLEASE vote for us. It’s also a joke when every time a black is either voted off before a white person of lesser talent (i.e. Brandy wah, wah, wah), everyone cries foul, but when someone like Warren Sapp is in the final 2, not a word because he’s so cool. Right. Zendaya was in no way as good as Kellie this year and the score show it all. She outscored her, even with biased (against Kellie) judging from Len, she still had 411 points to Zendaya’s 410. She lost fair and square. I didn’t see once where Kellie was begging for votes either. Her fan site was all about her fans while Zendaya’s fans site is full of her asking everyone to vote, vote, vote. If you’re good enough you don’t need that.

I think based on technique, performance ability, and musicality Zendaya should have won. But Kellie has beautiful lines, emotional connection, and clean movements. I think they are both very talented, just in different ways. Plus the fact that Kellie is a very endearing TV personality put her in the lead. So yes I agree that if based solely on technique Zendaya should have won but we all know reality competition shows are never that way. I personally like Kellie better as a TV personality, not that I don’t think Zendaya is a star who is destined for great things especially with her talents. Oh and the reason she wore tennis shoes in multiple episodes was because of her height compared with Val’s. In ballroom dancing the proper height is very important and she is almost a foot too tall in heels to be dancing with him. Which is why her elbow collided with his face, resulting in stitches. Anyway as a dance teacher I love the show even though I find it frustrating sometimes lol.

Both were great dancers but, I think the best, overall dancer, Kellie, won. Zendaya has alot of dance experience and danced a few times in flats, which is alot easier than heels. I understand she didn’t participate in the initial interview after the show, while the other three couples did. I think she showed immaturity at the end, both her and the dancing pro, by not being good sports. You could see it on their faces when they announced the winner and by not doing the 1st interview. She’s very talented and young, did a great job. There should be a Junior DWTS. I think she was a bit young for this group.

I agree. I thought Zendaya was better overall. And the system didn’t fully reward her — like the last dance where they all got 30 — while hers was clearly the best. That said, Kellie’s freestyle was very moving and I can understand the audience voting with their emotions on that.

I agree: Kellie was very boring to watch and she was emotionally void. She tactfully manoeuvred the dances, but never felt them until the free-style. And that was only one dance. I think Zandaya brought grace, interpretation, and personality to every dance she did. Kellie was a cold fish that danced well. Finished the dances by memorization. Only one dance did I actually sense she felt it and never once did I think she was having fun.

It’s really too bad people can’t see the difference in the dancing of Kellie Picker and Zendaya. Yes, Zendaya can move and is a great dancer, but, Kellie brought maturity to her dances that Zendaya does not yet have, Ii think that was the edge. If everything were based on the fast footwork dances then she would have been the clear winner, but, Picker has the grace and maturity to make a dance speak to you unlike anyone else in the season 16 competition…just saying.

Once again, everybody is entitled to their opinions. I actually think Zendaya was by far the most mature dancer. Actually, I think she’s was more than a dancer, she was a performer as well. While with Kellie most of the times you could see that she was either scared or counting the steps. Anyway, she won, her supporters should be celebrating and not feeling the need to give replicas all around the web to justify her winning. Just saying ;-)

About the poll above. If you can vote as many times as you want, it’s only setup to enforce the opinion of the loser who wrote this article, If he wanted it to be fair, each person who writes a comment would be allowed to vote just once. There are always those who’ll waste their lives away voting time after time to try to prove their point, no matter how wrong they are.

I have no problem with Kellie winning. Having said that I still think Zendaya should have won, she was definately the best. I do have a problem with the fact that so many people vote for Derek, (who I can not stand) instead of the celebrity he is working with. I hate to be one of those people who says they will no longer watch a program but I have now become one. If Derek is so wonderful why doesn’t he move on to bigger things. Maybe he likes being in a place where he know the show is always rigged so he can have a good dancer and win too many times to his ego can be inflatted even more. I can not imagine how the other pro-dancers feel knowing he is given so much favoritism. Lets change the name of the show to “The Derek Hough Dancing Show”.

Zendaya don’t worry about not winning you will go on to be a bigger star than these other could ever hope to be. I will miss seeing you and Val dance.

If it was the Derek Hough show like you claim, then why didn’t he and Shawn win last year, as everyone who watched could easily see that Shawn was the best dancer week after week? They had the hardest choreography and performed flawlessly, yet Melissa won. That pretty much proves your theory is flawed. Melissa won the sympathy vote because Tony cried every week about them being the only ones who didn’t have a ball yet. I really like Melissa, but there are very few contestants from the show, past or present, that can realistically compete with Shawn in a true dance contest. Take away the favoritism given by the judges comments and just listen to what the television audience says. Face it though, when Julianne came onto the scene, she changed the show forever. Her choreography and performance level out shined everyone else. Had she not arrived along with both Derek a Mark the next year, the show would’ve already been gone. Look at how many contestants have won with one of them as their partner. They’re 8 of 13, and last year it should’ve been Shawn and Derek, and the year before that Katherine and Derek. Len always has it out for Derek so if anything, the fans make up for however wrong the judges are. They’re almost always the most entertaining dances of the night, and it’s not by accident. When Derek and Mark are gone, I feel sorry for the show. It’ll go back to looking like season 1 thru 3 again.

Are you kidding Derek is Len’s favorite. Only once in awhile, Len says something critical to Derek. This run Derek did get a 7. In the past, Len always low scored Maks not Derek. In the past, when Maks spoke about the unfair scoring of the judges, some of the professionals sympathized. Not, Derek because he has is one Len’s favorites. Considering, Maks talents how is possible that he has not won one season?

If you had bothered to pay attention, aftet their freestyle dance Derek said he hadn’t planned on returning but changed his mind. Furthermore, he doesn’t pick his partners and doesn’t know their ability until they hit the dance floor.

Thank you but it still is annoying that she IS the better dancer. I think ABC did not want ZEndaya to win so that it looked like favoritism. INstead…they favored BARBIe and Ken. Kellie’s extension were impressive but she didn’t exude real dancer emotion. I think Zendaya’s age worked against her as well. But as a true dancer, she is the REAL deal.

For anyone to say that anyone other than Kellie should’ve been the winner is just biased and can’t count. Kellie was ripped off by having to start the show off on week 1 and received only 21 points, when she was clearly as good as anyone that night and better than most, although she scored equal to Dorothy, yeah right. Dorothy wasn’t bad but she wasn’t Kellie good either. Zendaya received 24 and Kellie was at least as good if not better. Being the first to go is always a disadvantage. In week 8 when Len gave Kellie a 7 while the others gave her a 10 for the dance with a 3rd dancer, it was a ripoff. That was up there with the worst judging in 16 years. Lastly, during the semi finals, when Kellie danced the Flamenco and gets a 10 from Len, yet the other two idiots have something negative to say and give her 9’s, while Zendaya gets to dance Hip-Hop, which has no set rules to judge by, and you knew that they were going to give her perfect 10’s no matter what. All of that, plus the extra point she was just given by the judges in the relay still wasn’t enough to put her on top in total points for the season. With all of the favoritism shown towards Zendaya throughout the show, Kellie still earned more points during the season, 411 to 410. Imagine if it had been a fair contest. If Kellie had received what she should’ve like 8’s during week 1, a 10 from Len for the trio dance, and 10’s for the Flamenco, Kellie would’ve ended up with another 8 points, clearly outscoring Zendaya with 419 to 410. That’s what should’ve been. Either way though, there’s no doubt in any sane persons mind that Kellie was the best dancer and was the real winner. Writing articles like this one is only because the little black girl didn’t win. I predicted before they announced the winner that when Kellie wins, there’ll be those who’ll cry foul, like they did back when Mel B lost to Helio and when Brandy was voted off before Bristol, but they had no problem with Emmett winning over Mario Lopez, Hines Ward over Chelsea Kane, Donald Driver over Katherine Jenkins (now that was a no brainer if ever there was one). If a black wins, it’s great, but if they lose, there’s something unfair about it. Face it, it’s a reality show where the judges just give their opinion and don’t really judge on just the technical aspects of the dances but their own very subjective biases. If they did, Jacoby would’ve been gone a long time ago with his pigeon toes on every dance. It’s a television show where the viewing audience gets to have a say in who wins. If that wasn’t the case, people would’ve stopped watching it years ago. I know that I would’ve. There’ve only been a few times in the history of the show when the best dancer didn’t win, and this year was NOT one of them. I called it on day 1 and stand by Kellie 100% as the true winner of this season. All of you haters who think that Zendaya should’ve won, get a life. Congratulations Kellie Pickler, season 16 winner.

Ballroom dancing is NOT Hip Hop. As can be seen when Val had to learn how to dance Hip Hop. He stated that he applauded the celebrities on the show, because the dance was completely out of his comfort zone. And though he did a wonderful job in the performance, it showed. Zendaya said herself Ballroom dancing required her to forget all her previous dance experience because Hip Hop isn’t about your posture etc. I’ve had Hip Hop dance training, doesn’t mean i can bust out into the Argentine Tango at a given notice. It just means you have some rhythm to work with. And to all of you saying that Zendaya had an advantage of being used to a hardworking ethic, you sound like idiots. Kellie is an artist who has toured a lot, i’m pretty sure that’s a hardworking ethic as well.

The reason Val had such a hard time with it is because it’s just a bunch of stupid moves, throwing your limbs around without anything to base them on. That they had it on there as a choice when they knew that Zendaya’s day job is that of a Hip Hop dancer. What if they’d have given Kellie a singing night and Aly a gymnastics night, would that have been fair? Clearly, it was a huge mistake having bother her and the dance choice on the show this year. It should be for those who have no dance experience, period. That’s when it’s really fun to watch.

Zendaya over confident? What were you watching? That girl was as humble as pie. She looked stressed at elimination every week. As a matter of fact when she was in the bottom two I thought she was going to cry. Look Kellie was good she did improve. But she too like Zendaya Ali and Jacoby is used to a strict work ethic. She’s toured you think that’s easy. So don’t say that zendaya had the edge because she’s on a show. Its insulating to the other people in the top four and ridiculous to say. And Fyi kellie is only 26 and in great shape so Zendaya being 16 shouldn’t be brought up either because Ali. Is 2

You people are psycho about ABC pushing Z. She didn’t win…I think just the opposite. They made sure she DIDNT win…..with the voting fiasco. People who see Kelly as the best dancer are blinded by the Ken BARbie act. She won, but not the best dancer. Not the first time it has happened on this show. Look at Melissa R. She was very similar to Kellie. A former cheerleader with great legs and not much real inner dancer. DWTS is lame-bo and yet we get sucked in every season.

The continuous comments about tennis shoe-wearing are actually quite laughable. First of all, in the past many celebs have worn flats in jive, aka Zendaya’s last dance. Secondly, she was wearing flats because otherwise she would be WAY taller than Val and that would make it really hard for them to dance together. Thirdly, as shown on Monday, wearing heels actually improved her dance and made it easier for her to turn and do other things. As someone who does latin dance and is currently forced to wear flats due to recovering from a broken ankle, I miss my heels sooooo much! Dancing (and especially turning) is much easier in heels!

This season was filled with very talented guest dancers. There are not age limiting restrictions nor are there any occupation restrictions. If the governing DWTS personnel wanted limitations an age range limitation would be enforce as we as an occupational restriction as to who would be able to participate- professionals or non- professionals.
The season of judging is/should be bases solely on who is the BESTt dancer NOT on their age or profession.
Len summed it up while complimenting Zendays when he said she becomes the music through ther facial expressions and body movements. I believe the point system should be adjusted to perhaps toss out the lowest of the three judges scores and do not give the public vote to one method and reduce the % to a minimum. The jusges know best how to score the dances, the public’s votes are merely populArity votes nThe best dancer came is second place.

I love Kellie and have no problem with her winning but I really think Zendaya was the overall better dancer. Not by much but she had the edge. I think people should also just vote for their favorite without putting other celebrities down. It’s so unnecessary. Kellie and Zendaya both had the advantage over most of the other celebrities because they were young, flexible, slim and talented so please get off the Zendaya had some advantage over Kellie with dance training unless you want to apply that bias to everyone. Zendaya had to learn new dances and dance styles every week and I guarantee you the supposed dance training didn’t given any advantage. She would have been good regardless of any training as well as Kellie. I think the freestyle is what got Kellie the win which was fortunate for Kellie but she didn’t win because she was the better dancer. Zendaya got the higher scores. I also have seen numerous comments putting Zendaya down simply because of her age so if anyone had the advantage, it was Kellie simply because she was older.

Kellie won and should have!!!! They were in a dead heat going into the finale but I thought Kellie brought her A++ game and clearly stole the show! Great job Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough!!!

Both Zendaya and Kellie were heads and shoulders above the contestants. I felt that Zendaya had a very slight lead going into the last week. Zendaya danced a great freestyle, But Kellie’s freestyle is considered by more than a few; the best dance ever on DWTS. Both Bruno and Len wished they could give her 11’s

Kellie’s freestyle won it for her

The Zendaya freestyle was better, she mixed 3 styles so great, was a master piece.

Elias Jara, you are a nut job if you thought that anyone’s freestyle was even comparable to Kellie’s. By stating otherwise, you’ve shown yourself to be completely unreliable as a judge of great dancing. Anyone else who falls into that category can’t be taken seriously either.
