“Anyone who wants to improve their smile — like braces for crooked teeth, rotated teeth or gaps or a bad bites. It does the same as traditional braces except it is less noticeable,” Dr. Sands tells us.
If Khloe has straight teeth, what is the benefit of Invisalign?
“She had almost straight teeth — a little crooked — she wanted to perfect them. It’s Invisalign express — just a few trays to get them perfect. A minor case.”
What is the timing compared to traditional braces?
“Invisalign usually takes longer because of less patient compliance — patients usually wear the trays 23 hours a day and braces are on your teeth 24 hours a day.”
What is the cost compared to traditional braces?
“Invisalign is twice as expensive — there are more of them to make. The average cost for Invisalign is $3, 000 – 7,000, metal braces are $2,000 – 5,000.”
