Miguel Crushes Two Fans During Billboard Awards Performance

Ouch! In a poorly-planned stunt during his 2013 Billboard Music Awards performance, Miguel tried to jump over the crowd — but landed on two fans in the audience instead! He accidentally crushed their heads and necks — watch the shocking video.

Miguel‘s high-energy performance of his song “Adorn” during the Billboard Music Awards on May 19 totally wowed the crowd, until the end when he tried to make a leap over the audience — and fell short! He landed on the edge of the stage, and ended up body slamming two young women in the front row.

Miguel Falls At Billboard Music Awards — Hurts Fans?

While the 27-year-old singer was performing his hit song, he decided to take a leap of faith across the stage and jump over the crowd. Unfortunately, he overestimated his long jump skills and ended up landing on top of two young fans.

Miguel kept going, but the young women looked visibly hurt! One kept her head down for a few moments, and another looked like she completely left the crowd. It seemed like Miguel didn’t really know what he was doing either, because he grabbed another woman in the crowd and kept singing to her.

Miguel Brings Hurt Girl Backstage

After his performance, Miguel clearly felt terrible about his performance blunder, and delivered a heartfelt apology and gesture to one of the injured women. He brought her backstage after the accident, and told her how sorry he was!

Even though it looked incredibly painful to be jumped on by the music star — especially with that height and at that speed — it must have totally made up for it to be backstage at the BBMAs!

THESE AWARDS ARE SO STUPID BECAUSE THESE PRODUCERS ARE ALLOWING THIS STUFF TO HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY NEED TO REALEY SET SOME RULES ABOUT WHAT GOES ON!!!!!!!!!!!!! INCLUDING HOW THE DANCE AND DRESS ON STAGE!!!!!!!!!!!! IT LOOKS AND SOUNDS MORE LIKE A PORNO MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That’s what happens when you try to copy the best dancer (chris brown) who would have totally perfected that jump and did a few flips to top it off lol sorry miguel you just don’t got it like that. Be smarter next time.

I warned many of the artists I wrote songs they recorded about not bodysurfing the crowd. One happened to be Kurt Cobain. It was clear that Miguel couldn’t make up his mind about body surfing and decided to jump over the fans just cutting it short to the other side of the stage. Yes, the Billboard awards was very disappointing tonight, even my long time friend Prince.

Name dropping has nothing to do with fans being injured, especially during a televised awards show or with a show being lackluster. I’ve been in the entertainment business since I was 15 writing award winning songs for everyone from Madonna, The Cult, Adam & The Ants, INXS, Def Leppard, Evanescence, Barbara Streisand, Cher, Motley Crue, Prince, Nirvana, Hole, Nine Inch Nails, Michael Jackson, Van Halen, Billy Squier, Korn, etc. and coming up with hit television shows such as Miami Vice, and working on scripts for award winning films such as Driving Miss Daisy. I have every right to speak my mind. What have you done with your life?

And to top it all off Miguel sounded horrible. The whole show tonight was wack!

Those poor fans could have been seriously injured or killed. What was he thinking? He’s some kind of super hero or something!? Those girls (ladies) are lucky their neck wasn’t broken! What a fool.

He is an inconsiderate idiot! Those two girls WERE injured. I see a lawsuit coming his way and it is well deserved! He can’t even sing!

Agreed lawsuits are coming and he did sound like crap, Hope the ladies are alright it looked like the one to the right actually fell down to the floor and the blonde was trying to help her up but Miguel grabbed her and put her in the spotlight. Not a good move Miguel. Better think about those stage antics first buddy.

Maybe he had dreams of playing in the NBA.
Maybe he didn’t rehearse the jump before hand. Maybe he decided on it last minute Whatever the reason, it was dumb.Dude is like Snooki’s height.
The girl should sue his butt for pain and suffering.
