George Michael was involved in a car accident on May 16 in the UK. The British pop star, 49, was airlifted to the hospital, but he reportedly only suffered “superficial cuts.”

“Michael was a passenger in a Range Rover that crashed on the M1 motorway at around 5:50 PM local time. No vehicles were involved in the crash,” a rep for George tells TMZ.
The cause of the crash is still unknown.
“[George] sustained a head injury and following treatment, stabilisation and immobilization by land and air ambulance crews, he was flown to the hospital for further care,” a rep for the emergency response crew said.
The driver of the Range Rover has yet to be identified, according to TMZ.
George reportedly only suffered “superficial cuts” and he’s said to be doing just fine. Phew!
