Although the star looks so stylish on the red carpet, she admits that she never wanted to grow up too fast — we think it’s so cool that she’s so grounded!

Emma Watson looks so pretty on the June 2013 cover of W magazine, where the 23-year-old star opens up about growing up in the spotlight. She also displays her evolving sense of style and looks so retro chic in a slew of ensembles, including a Chanel dress and Louis Vuitton jacket.

Emma Watson ‘W’ Magazine Interview:

The star opens up about what kept her grounded while growing up. “I’ve never wanted to grow up too fast. I wanted to wear a sports bra until I was 22!” she says. “The allure of being sexy never really held any excitement for me. I’ve never been in a terrible rush to be seen as a woman.”

Emma Watson’s Character In ‘The Bling Ring':

While Emma carries herself with poise and confidence, her next role will totally transform the star — and she admits simply getting into costume helped her gear up for her part in The Bling Ring. “Who wouldn’t love to go to work in Uggs and very low-slung tracksuit bottoms? The iconic detail of Nicki is her tramp stamp. It’s a lotus flower, a Buddhist-like symbol just above her butt crack. Really classy! [Laughs] And at one point I told the costume designer, “You can see my bra strap in this top; shouldn’t we pin it?” And she said, “No, sweetie—Nicki is all about her bra strap showing.” I was like, Right, okay, different mind-set.”

I think Emma looks gorgeous for her latest shoot. Not only does she exude glamour, but she also seems perfectly poised. Do you agree? Do you like her stunning new, retro shoot?

It’s nice watching someone grow up naturally versus forcing it.
