The ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ star looked amazing at the 2013 Met Ball! With a red lip and a birdcage veil, she embodied retro glamour. Did you love her look?
The Costume Institute Benefit at The Metropolitan Museum on May 6 in New York City brought out the biggest stars in Hollywood including it-girl Jennifer Lawrence. The star-studded event was to celebrate the opening of the PUNK: Chaos to Couture exhibit at the museum.
Jennifer Lawrence’s Met Ball Hair & Makeup
The Dior brand ambassador looked stunning in a black Christian Dior dress, Brian Atwood platform pumps, and a Jennifer Behr headband with birdcage veil.
Although the theme was punk, Jennifer was class, class, class all the way. We love that she looked mature and sophisticated but somehow still managed to look youthful. The 22-year-old super star’s green eyes popped with a thick black winged eyeliner on her top lid. The liner continued around to her bottom lash line. Black mascara accentuated her eyelashes. Her clear skin was perfection and really made her red lips stand out!
Her hair looked amazing but it’s actually quite simple to re-create. Just take one inch sections and twist back away from your face. Pin with bobby pins or use one hand to twist and the other to gather hair near the back of your head. After the pieces have all been twisted, gather them together and twist into a bun. Secure with pins.
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Are you a fan of Jennifer’s beauty look?
