T-Swift hit NYC on May 6 to attend the star-studded Met Gala. She looked totally amazing as she walked the red carpet solo in a sleeveless, black, diamond-encrusted gown. Do you love or loathe her chic look? Vote below!
Taylor Swift might be a country girl, but she sure looks amazing whenever she’s in the city. May 6 was no different as Taylor attended the Costume Institute Benefit at The Metropolitan Museum of Art (otherwise known as the Met Ball) celebrating the opening of PUNK: Chaos to Couture. The singer donned a black sleeveless dress by J. Mendel with matching black heels.
Taylor Swift’s Met Gala Dress
Taylor was really working the red carpet on May 6, as she proved again that she’s a total fashion pro. Taylor’s take on punk came in the form of the dress’ sleeveless style and fierce-looking diamond-studded shoulders. The dress had an extra pop thanks to the jagged gold-hued cut-outs.
Taylor finished off her edgy look with seriously smoky eyes and punk-styled pulled back hair.
Taylor Swift’s History At The Met Gala
We were so glad to see Taylor back at the Met Ball this year, as she skipped the event in 2012. Our mouths were watering for more after T-Swift was one of the best dressed stars at the Gala in 2011. Her asymmetric petaled couture gown by J. Mendel totally blew us away and is still one of her fiercest looks ever. Although she may have topped it with her 2013 look.
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Was Taylor one of the best dressed at the Met Ball this year? Let us know!
