‘The Voice’ proved that they have the most talented singers on TV on April 16, when night two of the battle round had Usher and Adam fighting over a steal!

We thought The Voice was supposed to be a competition between the contestant, but not on this singing competition show! The judges seem to be battling each other just as much as the singers have been!

Usher Scolds His Team: Take This Seriously

It’s not easy to be part of Team Usher. We told you after the last battle round that he was the toughest judge to impress. And on April 16, he proved it.

Usher chose to pair up Josiah Hawley against Jeff Lewis, and after singing through “Roxanne,” Usher was not impressed — he was even less impressed when Jeff laughed after screwing up.

“What’s funny?” Usher asked dead serious. “Is this funny to you? This is a battle, you’ve got to take this serious, man.”

Apparently, Jeff wasn’t serious enough. Josiah’s “mystique” won over Usher in the battle round.

Adam & Usher Battle To Steal Singers From Team Blake

When Caroline Glaser and Danielle Bradberry entered the ring for the battle round, all the judges were beyond impressed with the young singers.

They brought the house down with “Put Your Records On,” and ultimately, coach Blake Shelton chose Danielle, who is the youngest in the competition at age 16.

However, it wasn’t the end for Caroline, 19. Immediately after the performance, both Usher and Adam Levine pounced onto their buttons (the two judges that didn’t turn for her in the blind auditions).

“Caroline, what you do just astonishes me,” Adam told her. “I gotta have you. You lost the battle but you’ve definitely not lost the war.”

Usher also pleaded, after yelling that he pushed his button before Adam.

“I love your voice,” Usher said excitedly. “I love the potential of what I know I can do with you. I understand who you are, I really feel like I can teach you so much.”

Then Blake, her original coach, chimed in to remind the guys that she’s a singer-songwriter and that it’s extremely important to her.

In the end, Caroline chose TEAM ADAM, which left Blake a bit worried.

“I’m a little bit afraid of the combination of Adam and Caroline because Adam probably has a littler better understanding of that singer songwriter type-thing, there’s no telling how far they can go,” Blake said to the camera.

So, what did YOU think of night two of the battle rounds, HollywoodLifers? Do you think Caroline made the right choice by picking Adam?
