I think that the young artists in this world should not be thought of as a bad person or a disgrace or whatever, because the young people who are not celebrities are doing the exact same thing that the young artists are doing. The kids that are not celebrities don’t get judged the way young artists do. I totally agree with Will.

I can honestly say at 19 years old I wasn’t driving my car around at 100 mph, I wasn’t spitting in other peoples faxes, and I wasn’t running all over Gods green earth without a shirt on. My parents raised me better than that. Seems as though all u beever fans are to blind to see what he is doing is NOT NORMAL or acceptable for that matter. It’s rediculous. This clown needs to grow up and be an adult.

He’s still a kid and is in the process of growing up. You shouldn’t say something like that unless you know what he’s going through personally, and I’m not saying I do cuz I don’t, but I don’t ever judge people until I know what they have been going through. Seems like you should to.

Will is very mistaken. There’s no “war” against young artists. There are plenty of young artists that are very talented, and that are well respected. The ones that people are not big fans of are ones that think they can do whatever they want and get away with it. Parents don’t want their children looking up to people that are abusive, can’t control their anger, perform irresponsible acts…etc. Justin obviously needs anger management and needs to start acting his age. He doesn’t need to be driving cars down the road at 100 mph. There is no excuse for spitting in another persons face no matter WHAT they say to you. There is no excuse for his behavior and nothing that any other “celeb” says will change that. Everyone is responsible for their own actions.

I’m tired of young artists having to be seen as ‘role models’. Its a poor excuse created by parents. If you’re having a kid, that kid is your responsibility. Relying on the media to teach your child how to behave and act is pathetic!

My parents don’t rely on young artists like Justin to teach me how to behave, they do it theirselves. Every kid should have a role model, and that does not mean that their role model is support to teach them how to act, It means that kid has someone to look up to and admire, and I know that might mean sometimes that kids might act like their role models, but what I’m trying to say, is when a kid has a role model, then he or she can have an inspiration to do something big, or make a change. I am a 14 year old girl, and I have tons of role models. I’ve seen what they can do to change the world, and that makes me want to do the same. Sometimes, I see a celebrity do something wrong. but we are ALL human, and all humans make mistakes, just because you might be a celebrity doesn’t make you a God. In my opinion, being a celebrity isn’t just fame and money, it’s being an entertainer, yes, but mostly someone for people who look up to, when they are upset or, have lost their way. that’s what it’s like for me. And I’m not saying that everyone thinks of celebrities like that, but I know I do. So just because a celebrity like Justin Bieber makes a mistake. Don’t start trashing them. Because there are people just like you doing the same, and Mabey you should get more information, and insight on the situation. Jus sayin.

I agree young artist SHOULD NEVER be role models adults need to be the role models. Because kids loking up to kids who act like this will do no better. We need adults, preferably mature clear-headed adults (i.e. not Courtney Love) setting an example. It is sad when JB Chris Brown, and Rhianna are the role models for kids.

Guess they talked a out ‘war against you artists’ because their our children are on the Bieber path. That’s are many example of amazing young artists who grow up in the spot light without all the shananigans mr Biber is doing. Like there are normal children who are well mannered and there are children who are just nightmares. Blame the parents, blame the little devils themselves I don’t know. Let just don’t make them martyrs please. This is just ridiculous. Mr and Mrs Smith don’t you have more noble causes to defend, like the million of children starving everyday, poor education… Pick whatever you like but really defending spoiled kids driving luxory cars with exotic pets and little salt in the brain… It is just sad. For you and for us full enough to buy thicket to your movies buy your record and permitting you to live such a wasteful life.

I don’t think so much as there is a “war on young artists”. I believe that young artists are accepted in the industry as long as they don’t make unfortunate decisions like Bieber has been doing lately. Take Zendaya Coleman for example. She is the youngest contestant on Dancing with the Stars (16) and yet she is in 1st place to win because of viewer’s votes. She has not done or said anything vulgar and is accepted by many viewers.

There is no “war on young artists”. There is an acknowledgement by persons who are conducting themselves in an inappropriate manner. And these fools are acting very foolish.

Not true some people don’t like Hunter Hayes because they call him the justin bieber of country music and he does not act anything at like Justin. It’s sort of like when your parent would tell you not to do something and it just made you want to do it even more. Granted, I don’t think his actions lately have been good, but when he was first starting out he still got the same amount of hate he’s getting now and he wasn’t doing anything bad. It was just because he was young, popular, and successful. I think it’s just after all this time he’s letting the drama get to him especially since Selena is even taking part in all the hate now. It’s kind of sad because I thought he might have been a good role model to little kids when he was first starting out, but now i don’t know. If he gets his act together though people will still bad mouth him, which I don’t think is right.
