The former Nickelodeon star confesses to having an eating disorder on Twitter. Is she reaching out for help?

Amanda Bynes has been struggling for a while now. She’s run into trouble with the law and undergone some questionable makeovers over the past year. Now, she is confessing to a major problem on Twitter. Poor Amanda can’t catch a break.

Amanda Bynes’ Eating Disorder Confession On Twitter

Amanda took to Twitter, as most celebs do, to reveal something very personal. The actress tweeted on April 4, “I have an eating disorder so I have a hard time staying thin.” Could this tweet be a cry for help? Is she reaching out to her fans and family? It’s hard to say, considering her wild Twitter history.

The What I Like About You star has a history of over-sharing on Twitter. She tweeted about her attraction to Drake a few times, one of which was completely crude. She tweeted, “I want @drake to murder my vagina.” Let’s just say there are more appropriate ways to tell someone you like them.

Amanda’s Family Wants Her To Move Back Home

A source told E! that Amanda’s family is reportedly concerned about her well-being and are afraid that her bizarre behavior is actually a cry for help. They want her to leave New York City and move back to Los Angeles so they can keep a closer eye on her and help her through her troubles. Her announcement of an eating disorder may give her family the extra push to step in and help their struggling daughter.

We sincerely hope Amanda gets well. Do you think Amanda’s tweet is a cry for help, HollywoodLifers?
