Yes, he may be lashing out at paparazzi, possibly to let his hurt out, but he’s wisely taking no punches in the press, at Selena.
“[Selena’s] been bashing him, but Justin has ordered everyone around him not to fight back,” a source told Radar Online. “He told his friends and everyone else about Selena, ‘she’s off limits.’ He told everyone to leave her alone.”
No matter what Selena has said, he’s clearly still holding a warm place in his heart for her.
“He doesn’t want to fuel the fire and he just doesn’t want it to be that way with her. ‘I don’t want anyone saying anything negative about her,’ is what he told his pals.”
Hmm, does he not want to be like that, because he wants to keep the door open to a renewed romance with his ex?
Justin Attempts To Stay In Touch With Selena
Since the split, she’s basking in her the success of her film, Spring Breakers.
While Selena has been out having a good time at premieres and after parties with her Spring Breakers co-stars Ashley Benson and Vanessa Hudgens.
It seems that Justin has been laying low. He hasn’t been mingling with new girls, and a source exclusively told HollywoodLife.com that he had still been calling Selena. However, she’s not answering.
“Justin’s devastated right now,” the source told us. “He’s calling her 100 times a day and she’s not picking up.”
While it seems that Selena is doing a good show of appearing to move on, Justin’s actions seem to say he’s holding on.
One of Selena’s friends also claimed that Selena wants an older man. “She just wants a man who has his s–t together, and not a weird boy,” a source exclusively told HollywoodLife.com.
Selena Publicly Bashes Justin
It’s nice to see that Justin isn’t bashing Selena, although she hasn’t exactly taken the same route.
First, Selena went on The Late Show with David Letterman where David Letterman had no problem bringing up Justin.
“Now, the last time he was on, he and I got into a conversation and he said something and I said something, and then he said something and I said something, and I made him cry,” he said.
To that, Selena came back with, “well then, that makes two of us.”
Selena also took a few digs while she made the late night TV rounds for Spring Breakers.
We’re happy that Justin has decided to take the high road here, and telling his friends to do the same!
