A ‘new hero’ is coming to ‘Once Upon A Time!’ Watch a preview video from the show’s April 21 episode.
Once Upon A Time is on another mini hiatus until April 21 — I know it sucks, but don’t shoot the messenger — and when it returns, we’ll get to meet a “new hero!” The promo for the final four episodes of the season revealed Tom Ellis as none other than Robin Hood.
And just like Colin O’Donoghue‘s Captain Hook, the Once Upon A Time version of Robin Hood is remarkably more attractive than its animated Disney counterpart — even though he was literally a fox.
So how will Mr. Hood fit into Once‘s increasingly intense story line? Sadly, that remains unclear. But from the promo video below, it looks like he’ll cross paths with Bella (Emilie de Ravin) in the enchanted forest.
Is Storybrooke Being Abandoned In Season 2?
As crazy as it may sound, that’s what many fans are speculating, and there’s plenty of evidence to back up their fears. Not only does this new promo video end with Emma (Jennifer Morrison) saying, “Storybrooke isn’t safe,” but spoilers for season three — yes, there are already spoilers for season three — reveal we’ll be spending quite a bit of time in Neverland.
The titles of the season’s final two episodes — “Second Star To The Right” and “And Straight On ‘Til Morning” — certainly imply the characters will be taking a trip to Peter Pan’s domain. Could it be, as August (Eion Bailey) feared, that Tamara and Owen are plotting to steal all of the magic in Storybrooke, rendering it uninhabitable?
HollywoodLifers, how do YOU think Robin Hood will fit into the show’s overall story? And do you think the characters could really abandon Storybrooke next season? Watch the sneak-peek video below, then drop a comment with your theories!
