There is no reason you should post a picture of Holly *WHILE* she’s pregnant as a pre-weight loss picture. It’s completely misleading

@Michelle your right baby rainbow weighed 7lbs 2oz pretty average and depending on what Holly’s normal weight was before pregnancy she’s 5ft 7in so I’m guessing 130lbs which is healthy for that height and a normal first time mom to be gains between 45-55lbs when no complications are present and Holly had Severe Morning Sickness so she probably gained more than she wanted to because of fluids being pumped into her at the hospital which causes excess water retention.

a couple pair of spanx, real real women do not look like that after 2 weeks and i don’t feel they should show all this to make real women feel inferior.

She probably only gained the 20 to 25 that she was suppose to gain.
Lets just say the baby weighed 7 to 8 pounds, then the fluid and placenta another 7 to 8 pounds.
Once the baby is out your body no longer makes huge amounts of extra blood to accommodate the baby, so you are almost back to your pre-pregnancy size within weeks unless you decide to breastfeed. In that case you need not lose any weight on purpose, like a diet. breastfeeding also helps with weight loss though.
i don’t think Holly gained 40 pounds though.

Doesn’t look like she gained 40 to begin with. She probably only gained around 20 and that included the baby, fluid, etc. Soooo.. it’s an illusion. And sidenote, you’re not cleared for exercise after birth until six weeks. Let’s not promote how great it is when it’s not safe medically. And really, who cares how fast people lose weight after birth? Can’t we focus on the sweet baby and not image?
