Rebel Wilson In Talks To Star In ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay’

Will we be seeing Rebel in the Capitol soon? The ‘Bridesmaids’ star is in talks to star in the third and final installment of ‘The Hunger Games’. How cool!

Jennifer Lawrence may be facing a brand new enemy in the form of Rebel Wilson! The Pitch Perfect star is in talks to star in Mockingjay, the third film of The Hunger Games which has just begun filming. How cool! Rebel says that, should she star in the movie, she will be playing “one of the people in the Capitol.” This must happen!

Rebel Wilson Talks About Starring In ‘Mockingjay’

Rebel, 27, teased her possible part in The Hunger Games in a new interview. When asked if she would consider starring in the franchise, she said “Um, seriously, I have had a meeting about being in The Hunger Games. Yes,” to Buzzfeed.

How amazing! She was then asked what district her character would be from, referring to the novel’s dystopian future world, and she “It was one of the people in the capitol. That’s all I’ll say.”

Rebel then added that the character would be a good choice, “because there aren’t a lot of roles open, because they’ve all already been cast, but that would be awesome. I’d love to be in The Hunger Games.”

Rebel Wilson Loves Jennifer Lawrence

It looks like Rebel wants to be the film so bad because she is a big fan of Jennifer’s! Jennifer stars in the films as the hero Katniss Everdeen, who fights against the Capitol and all its stands for.

“I met her at a party and she was super-duper nice,” said Rebel. “She’s really quite tall. Which I found — I don’t know if you get that impression when you see her in movies, but she’s quite tall. Yeah, and she’s just really nice and I love The Hunger Games and I can’t wait for the new one to come out.”
